They work most of the time but I've come across a few in this set where the threading was bad so the quality control can't be that good. However, they're cheap and the vast majority work well, so I still recommend them if anyone asks (I know the subject of large water coolers).

I have a 3D printer with 2020's extruded aluminum rails for the frame and they are great for attaching things (webcam, rasburrips, wire rails etc.). They also worked very well and kept the dimensions separate. If I need more I will buy these.

These things, like all cheaply produced nuts, are random. They're great when they work, but half the time they don't rotate to lock in the profile when you tighten the screw. So don't waste hours installing any of them. Just get another one, hope it works better and try again. You're not doing anything wrong, these are nuts. Better ones rotate correctly when threading.

Like many people I bought these for my 3D printer. The T-nuts I received work as intended and seem to be holding the tabs well. I haven't started the printer yet, but the push and pull didn't move, so all seems fine in that regard. The kit is missing 8 M3 T-nuts (I counted 42, should be 50) which is unforgivable. I bought these first hoping to use them to mount some things on my 3D printers (CR-10 and Ender 5/5 Pro) so I decided to give them a go to try. and they were not disappointed. They worked as intended and seem pretty solid as I haven't had anything slip.
