There is nothing particularly wrong with these kayak bindings. They'll do exactly what they're designed to do, but for the same price you can get two budget kits that work just as well. They seem a lot stronger and I expect they'll probably last longer, but my other budget wearables work just as well. If you're constantly lugging yaks back and forth they might cost more, but if you're going on a weekend getaway you might want the premium quality they bring to the table.

Very good quality roof bars. I had to send them back because they didn't fit my '05 Toyota Tacoma. Roof rack. The bracket didn't fit around the bar and therefore didn't leave enough room to screw the bottom bolts into the strut without hitting the top of the truck. We tried different solutions but they just didn't work. Another problem was that our truck was very tall and we needed a ladder to lift our kayaks over the J-Bracket. No problem with brackets J, only with us. We have to be higher.

I bought these luggage racks for a 2010 Toyota Rav 4. Received them fairly quickly, Revain is great for fast shipping. I bought these instead of Thule racks because they were so much cheaper. The only problem is that the handles that came with the uprights to attach the uprights to your car's cross members are too close to the Rav 4's roof. I bought these J-Racks to hold my wife's 9ft 6in SOT kayak. These racks did a great job of holding my wife's kayak throughout our 600 mile trip.
