I wish it would work. I have a Smith road bike helmet. This band replaces the headband built into the helmet. Mine came off easily and was replaced with a Sweat Buster, but it's so bulky it changed the way my helmet sits on my head. This causes a sharp pain in the back of the skull. No matter how I try to reposition the Sweat Buster, I have the same pain. I wish it worked. It's a good 1/2 inch thick.

This is a simple task to add to your helmet when you ride in hot weather and find that sweat is dripping into your eyes and goggles. I sweat a lot so I still pair it with a light headband. This combination completely eliminates dripping. By lightweight headband I mean nylon headbands designed to keep hair out of your face. Alone, neither the headband nor the sweat buster keeps me from dripping. Again, I sweat a lot so it might be me, but the combo works 100% of the time.

Definitely a must for those who wear MIPS helmets and are bald like me, with plastic inserts that sweat more condensation than normal caps. Excellent at keeping sweat out of your eyes. Florida rolls in such a way that the temperature is 100 degrees most days. The Sweat Buster fills up in an hour and needs to be called, but it works. I have a helmet that seems to hold a ton of sweat until it does. I got about 2/3 of the ride then the sweat started pouring into my eyes, onto my glasses etc. I've been using HALO but still no good. They are ideal for protecting your eyes from sweat on a bike helmet. It is simply inserted in place of your front pad or can be easily added to some helmets. I use Fox helmets and just need to cut off some of the liner, add some velcro dots and a veil! Works better than using Halo V, the previous best option, as it doesn't leave silicone band marks on your forehead for hours after riding. I have used them on two 50+ mile rides on very hot days and they have worked very well. They fit perfectly on my helmet and I didn't have to use the extra Velcro stickers that came with the sweatbands. I had some sweat on the sides of my eyes, but not much, and these things collected most of my sweat.
