Decent knife for the money.

Bought to replace a knife that was lost during a dive. This is a good knife for the brain. The mounting clips (2) are made of plastic and can wear out. It's a decent set for the price though. I like the sheath and straps, they seem durable.

The best locking system and dive knife I've ever had

This is a perfect size freediver knife that I also use for scuba diving. With my scuba, I carry it on my shoulder strap as a backup. It would be great if they made one size with the same closure system. LIKE Every underwater knife should be washed and oiled if you want your grate.

  • Decent performance
Cons
  • So-so

Best value for money

I can't think of a better blade and scabbard for the price you are paying. It helps a lot when the blade snaps into place. I've lost so many knives because they weren't fully sheathed. It won't be the best knife you've ever bought, but it's what you'd expect for the price. If my blade dulls or I lose it, I just buy a new one because it's so affordable.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Low repairability

Paid $21 for losing the knife

The knife itself is not bad, seems strong enough to hunt fish with, but overall it comes off with a click of compression and the sheath is of poor quality . The knife also comes out without squeezing the sheath and feels very loose. I lost my $100 knife in the California woods (and this knife was actually very safe), so I'm pretty sure this knife will be even easier to lose. The rubber bands are poorly glued, some of the dried glue is peeking out. The plastic handle and sheath looks and feels…

Great value for money fishing/diving knife

I have bought 2 of these knives in the last few years. Use it in saltwater as a knife for spearfishing and kayaking, but it's good for baiting or even cleaning fish at the end of the day. The blade may show small patches of surface oxidation as it wears, but wash and lubricate it from time to time. Mine are shrouded very securely, just make sure they're fully engaged. The black coating on the blade actually holds up quite well. Can't beat the value at this price. (Paid more than twice as much…

I like the size and for a kill knife it fits the bill.

I have bought two of these in the last three years. I like the size and not bad for a hunting knife. Difficult to put it back in the holder when attached to a rubber diving belt. You must carefully protect the tip when returning it to its place to avoid cutting yourself. The retention system is great, it slides back into place cleanly and is easily removed if needed. The small size is great for holding on to if you are used to silencing fish. It's easy to drop, but it's a compromise that I…

Product rated A- to A (maybe A+ after getting some fish to test)

Update: After the spearfishing season and starting the second season I find this knife to be really great for spearfishing medium sized fish . The retention system is top notch and the blade is not lost yet (earlier dive knives either came out too easily/got lost or PIA got free when I need it). I like it a lot after being in the water. I would definitely buy again. ======================================== Westcoast Straighthookers is a top notch seller, and has worked with me very quickly when
