I bought these to use in making key rings. The instrument itself is heavy and well made. The plastic tips are cracked, but as far as I know this is quite normal and can easily be bought as a replacement. I would buy them again.

Great when they come with rubber pads. We had a new amazing baby who was in intensive care and couldn't make the replacement deadline. I hate giving things back anyway, quality assurance should be in place.

The description is misleading that these are real glass pliers. I bought them for a stained glass lesson I was attending and destroyed part of the project trying to use them for the first time. My instructor looked at them and immediately knew they were flat, whereas real glass articulated tongs have a flat top and a slightly curved bottom. Lesson learned.
