Complex headgear. Edit (12/24/20) Waste of head unit.

Very annoying head unit. If you have the patience this will work for you. If you don't, I strongly recommend getting a higher quality device. The ZLink app is the worst app you could ever use to activate Apple Carplay. You must delete this stupid app and never use it again. This head unit is NOT compatible with Apple Carplay as you will spend most of your time factory resetting the head unit to get it working. And what's worse, you have to reset it over and over and over and over and over and…

Did everything it was supposed to do

upgrade rating back to 5 stars. My sound problem was resolved after contacting the seller. I was told that the Rockford Fosgate system does not require all seat belts. See attached picture. After removing the two straps, the Rockford sound system came alive. My only complaint right now is that the mic is quiet. It sounds great at idle, but my voice gets a bit lost while driving. I'll look at other mics to see if they can even fix this. Correction. The old head unit was replaced with a SYGAV…

So I installed the version 9 radio for the first time in October 2019 and it was absolutely amazing, I liked all the new features compared to the stock radio. The sound quality was definitely not as clear and loud, but it was worth the loss to have the features of this main unit.
