Well made helmet. Keep in mind that there's no padding to speak of inside and it's more or less a metal bucket when you first get it. It's easy to line the inside with small towels or other scraps of fabric so the eye holes match your own eyes, but I mainly use this helmet as a display piece. If you really want to wear this as, say, an RIJ suit or outfit, you'll probably want to add your own padding or straps to the inside to make it more comfortable and easier to put on. I bought this on October 25th. Estimated arrival date was November 22nd to December 13th, but it arrived yesterday (November 1st)! I was very pleased. The helmet itself is well made and very stable. It feels heavy and firm, but not so heavy that it's uncomfortable. It is oiled to prevent rust but can be easily removed with a washcloth and a few minutes of good cleaning. This tough and nice helmet is quite big but has enough padding to give excellent protection for LARP and those martial arts with sword and shield etc. Cleaning and treating the outside with polyurethane spray paint eliminates the need to oil the helmet to prevent deterioration. Note however that some of the shine is lost due to the polyurethane coating (which to me is an improvement as the helmet looks like shiny chrome trim on the hood of a show car, not something that could have been produced
