Don't give up stainless steel

After using Teflon coated cookware for 16 years I've decided to make the switch to stainless steel. My first attempt at making zucchini potato pancakes ended in failure. I went online and found a You Tube demo on using stainless steel cookware. I did everything wrong. My second attempt was to make french toast. Doesn't matter. The toast was perfect. I suggest that people who have had issues with food sticking to the pan do their own research before arguing that stainless steel is too difficult…

Good durability but terrible cleaning

Update: On the design I'm not sure why they have exposed handles but anywhere there is a hole you need to clean it. It's really annoying. The pans do take some time to clean, why put extra work on the cook? I like pots, but even cooking the rice over low heat and adding oil still leaves a sticky, almost charcoal-like layer on the bottom. I had to use a spatula to scrape off the residue and it took me at least 10-15 just to scrape it off to get it clean. Some of them will have scratches from…

Pros
  • Same as everything before

  • Requires socket

LOVE LOVE LOVE! - Cookware sets

LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE! I did a lot of research and these were the ones I went with. I am very happy with my purchase. I had older Paula Dean copper stainless steels and they barely lasted a few uses. You are already out of bounds. I had trouble boiling eggs in it as I still used teflon coated pans. I hope I get better at it. I really have to watch my heat as I'm used to a different type of pan that can be used at high heat and doesn't heat up that quickly! However, it is very good boiling water…

Works as expected with one exception

I bought this stainless steel set to replace a ceramic set that had cracked badly in two years of ownership. Hoping this set will last more than two years, I take very good care of it, only use silicone, nylon and wooden utensils, cook on medium-low heat, hand wash and dry immediately after use, and store. so they don't overlap. The raised edges of the pan aren't as helpful as I'd hoped and seem to facilitate food sticking rather than prevent it as advertised. The rest of the pots work as…

It's actually more of a 10-piece dinnerware set with extra scoops.

We have been using Belgique stainless steel cookware for 24 years, although the handles on our old set are not heat resistant and are showing some wear after almost a quarter of a century. We were excited to try this T-Fal set of 14 stainless steel kitchen utensils. Right off the bat, we noticed that the stainless steel on these pans is a bit thinner than our Belgique set, but the silicone ridges on the ergonomic handles are a huge improvement over our Belgique. The number of 14 parts seems a…
