Double Internet Speed

Many compact and convertible laptops don't have Ethernet ports these days. Like my Lenovo Yoga 700. And even Wireless N or AC can't match the download speeds you can get with a wired connection. This adapter provides an easy and convenient way to connect to the wired internet. For example, even with a very good router, I achieved a WLAN speed of around 20 Mbit/s. With this adapter I have 40 Mbps (exactly what we pay for). Very useful for low latency applications such as gaming, streaming, etc.

Ideal for 100Mbps internet service

My ISP recently increased my internet speed to 100Mbps, but I haven't seen network speeds close to that of my Windows Netbook 10. Further testing revealed a problem with my old USB 2.0 network adapter. The TechRise USB 3.0 Network Adapter was cheap enough to take the risk, and it paid off. It was a true plug and play experience - no Windows 10 drivers required. Now I can get full download speed on my netbook. To my surprise, it even worked on an outdated Windows XP laptop (at reduced speed)…

Just plug in and go!: USB Network Adapter

Bought for my wife's laptop. It's a relatively new 17-inch touchscreen model from Dell that she has on her desk. It doesn't have an Ethernet port. We have 150/150 Mbps fiber at home and the best wifi she has ever seen was around 35 Mbps. Repeaters in the house seemed to drop out more often than one would expect. Bought a TechRise USB 3.0 to RJ45 adapter and plugged it into one of their laptop's USB ports. Wi-Fi turned off and she was connected. No further settings. Required in Windows 10. Went…

Plug and play and forget. The performance is as advertised.

I have a fairly new, very fast tablet/laptop combo (Windows 10) and the Wi-Fi in my office is spotty at best. Of course I want to use the speed of my tablet/laptop while working. While the wired connection is 100Mbps, all connections are made using an RJ45 Ethernet cable. Unfortunately, my tablet does not have an RJ45 connection. But it has many USB ports! Enter this RJ45 USB3 network adapter. I bought it, received it quickly, connected it and was online without delay at a speed of 100 Mbit /…

STRUCK! Works instantly! Excellent adapter

I'm thrilled! I already have a USB 3.0 to RJ45 Ethernet adapter that I use with my ultrabook when playing games or downloading large files for school and it does the job, but setting up for this adapter was too confusing ( instructions were incomplete). English and drivers could not be found on the Internet). So when I ordered this I was really excited about the advertised feature it just works - no drivers, no settings, no fiddling and gosh they lived up to that promise! I hooked it up to my…
