Ratchets are junk, teeth get stuck all the time the first time you use them, sockets are fine but ratchets are complete junk.

Complete set with no problems. I first bought a 1/4 drive kit and liked it so much I bought this one. Can't beat it at this price as I've recently sold all my different branded instruments to get together.

I have ordered several different socket sets from Tekton after all my tools were stolen from my garage a few years ago. I liked them so much that I bought this set for my boyfriend, his first tool set.

Can't be beat for the money. I'm a master mechanic with 20 years of experience. Have probably 75k in a rig. I would say that they are qualitatively comparable to high-end items. I could have saved a lot of money if I had bought the tecton sooner.

To be honest I haven't had time to use it yet but it looks and feels good except for one thing. Sure it's a small set, but it's still pretty heavy, and the case doesn't have a handle to carry it! The? How hard would it be to attach a carrying handle to it? I haven't found a solution yet.

Not related to the 3/8" set, everything was fine, the 1/4" set had a BAD ratchet. like buggy, unusable and TEKTON support said just keep using it it will come off, is there a guarantee? All of this for $14, but I will never recommend TEKTON because of their false "always guaranteed" guarantee

I love this socket set! Well-made sockets can be easily stowed away in a suitcase. The sockets stay in place even after a good shake up of the kit. The ratchet handle is very smooth-running and fits well in the hand. The quality and workmanship is on par with much more expensive brands like Snapon or MAC. Very happy with the quality of this set for this money.!

Your local Ytube channels have a lot of great reviews that will show you how freaking cool they are. Don't spend money on expensive things. They do just as well for a fraction of the cost. Put your pride aside and enjoy your savings. Of course it doesn't say snap-on. But now you have extra cash to buy your buddies beers while the other guy pays for the tools for the next 10 years.

Tekton is a very affordable hand tool option and typically these are medium quality tools. A few days after I received this ratchet set, the selector on the ratchet broke. Unfortunately, unlike some brands where you can walk into a store and get a warranty quickly, Tekton's warranty is provided online. But it was easy and I got a quick response. I bought this set twice. Once a few years ago for personal use and recently as a gift to my brother-in-law. Of course there are MUCH more expensive and comprehensive kits out there, but they do 75% of my auto, off-road, and household tasks. It doesn't take up much space, so it's easy to store and take with you. I did a lot of auto work on this and just added a long 1/2" ratchet and a set of socket adapters. The sockets even withstood my Milwaukee Fuel Shock Motor.
