Description of TEKTON Drive Torx Socket SHB24250

S2 steel bit is press-fit into the socket for a straight, permanent connection that can't loosen over time. Star-shaped Torx bit has 6-lobes machined to precise tolerances for an exact, high-torque fit that resists camming out. Large, clear die-stamped size marking is easy to read and can’t wear off. Four detent grooves provide a secure connection with the drive tool and a drilled through-hole allows locking on with retaining pin. Polished, chrome-plated finish easily wipes clean and is highly resistant to corrosion. Beveled inner rim of the socket opening helps guide it smoothly onto fasteners. Overall Length: 2.2 in. Shaft Diameter: 0.31 in. Drive End Diameter: 1 in. Exposed Bit Length: 0.7 in.

Great value hand tool

I didn't know what to expect for a few bucks but was pleasantly surprised. The quality appears to be good and it looks like it will continue to do so.

Good quality in power tools and hand tools

This bit was used to drive 50 6" structural screws with a 1/2" impact driver. The racket works very well and shows no signs of wear.

Perfect fit for Jeep JL

is just what I need for the JL rear door hinge bolts! perfectly fitting screws came straight with a good breaker, no scratched screws or loops!

Complete Junk: Sockets and Socket Sets

Don't waste your time and money on this junk. Literally the first use on a ratchet. The torx bit is just twisted and deformed. Bolt never moved. Thanks for nothing.

Seems to be a quality tool.

So far so good. I was able to loosen both seat belt bolts which were very rusty and didn't slip or break. Used a torque wrench and it holds.
