Great water conditioner!

I've been using Tetra Aqua Safe for regular water changes for over a year and it's great for healthy fish. No problems with fish diseases or death. I use this for my goldfish, guppies and damn cichlids. The amount of water softener can be measured with the cap. However, if you make the mistake of overdosing a little, in my experience it will not harm your aquarium water conditioner in any way.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Causes a white bacterial coating in the water. Only suitable for a new tank. Flowers indicate bacteria are thriving in the water; So it's probably (only) good for the initial tank cycle. The instructions say it should also be added at water changes. Do not do that. Produces cloudy water that takes over a week to clear. In an established aquarium you need bacteria in the filter and substrate; not in the water.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Some errors

where is the seal in Try Subscribe and Save

I usually shop in store but due to the pandemic decided to order online. I took away enough to know there should be a seal (I didn't). It's a big bottle, but it looks like a bottle full of water. I have some left over from another bottle so I sniffed it, I have a smell but the one I got didn't smell at all. It looks like water. I just do not know. What is the use of adding water to the water that is already in my tank?

Love Tetra AquaSafe Water Conditioner

I bought this 33 ounce AquaSafe Plus water conditioner because I use it for weekly partial water changes to keep a variety of tropical fish healthy and happy. I was influenced by the reviews I read about this product on Revain. Since using this product a few years ago it has reduced the loss of my fish and I can actually watch baby fish grow into adult fish which is a great pleasure for me. I also have a goldfish that I keep in a 1 gallon tank that I do full water changes weekly and add about 8

Pros
  • Long Lasting Finish
Cons
  • Negative Included

Best price for this conditioner

Here is a picture of the bottle I received from Amazon (on the right) next to the last bottle I bought which is $8 more. It's huge. I've been using this for my cichlid and betta aquariums for years. I have never seen such a big bottle, in stores small bottles cost twice as much as I paid for them. I ended up buying 2 and they will last me at least *a year. I have no idea what the people who say it killed their fish are doing with it. This is a dechlorinator that removes heavy metals, not aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
