🌡️ ThermoPro TP52 Indoor Thermometer & Humidity Gauge with LCD Display & Backlight Review

This meter does exactly what it's supposed to do. The day it arrived the maintenance guy was here to do a drop inspection of my HVAC system. His $200 device adjusted this $15 device to 1% of the humidity and temperature, so I'm happy with the accuracy. I recommend this device.

Temperature accurate but humidity sensor does not work. It's blocked at 37%, even if I breathe in, the gauge doesn't move at all. I also bought American honey which works as expected. My oven is set at 45% and Honeywell says 43%. This is very good because normally the allowed difference is 5%. I'm sending it back to the landfill. Stick to American-made products whenever possible.

I use this in my garage as I have a pantry and pet food. Easy to read, especially in the light. I liked that the backlight button is on the front; easy access. It's also very cool that it's magnetic and can be installed or stand alone. Finally, you'll appreciate that only ONE battery is required. Others I looked at required two or three. This thermometer/hygrometer is easy to use and has a large, easy-to-read display. Fridge magnet and backlight are very nice features. The accuracy of these products is difficult to determine due to the lack of expensive laboratory quality instruments. However, the temperature and humidity readings from this device matched those of another meter installed next to it (see photo).
