So useful! I've been using the old tap/die tools for as long as I can remember and I hate them. this is a game changer! A portion of the time spent on the best end result. I always have a set of these in my tool box!

So far so good, but only drill light, softer metals, don't expect any drilling Carbide and drill bit stainless steel inserts Steel , also with drilling oil. ALWAYS use oil to lubricate the metal surface when drilling.

Love this set! I bought these to add to my drill arsenal and the quality speaks for itself. They're nice and sharp and perfect for woodwork (or other soft materials) and they tap at the same time, which is great! As I recycle old furniture, this set is a great way to save work. There is an option to keep them in order, which is great!

I bought these bits to drill out old screws and bolts of various sizes so they could be removed. The bits worked well and I've also used them to poke a few holes in wood, which they do very well. Great set for homeowners! this . and the price was definitely right.

I took these right out of my bag and used them on hard metal that I couldn't thread with a traditional tap and die set. It worked great on the first try. I only took off the star because the bits were loose in the case when they arrived and since the metric and standard bits are almost identical in some sizes I have no idea which bit is which. However, it's okay.

I buy cheaper drill/tap because they can break from a drill. To avoid premature breakage, I often pre-drill with a standard drill to reduce the chance of drill/tap breakage, which costs more than drills. This extra step is not necessary when drilling/tapping 1/8" or thinner metal. The body is fine, but the bit holder material is too soft to hold the bits when the body is slammed into a tool bag. I often I open the box to see a few free-floating pieces.

Excellent quality. Spicy and quite hard. I know this set will serve me for many years. Wanted to give 5 stars but only one problem - a real mistake. . . The cheap case doesn't fit the bits and felt flimsy at first, but upon inspection the knobs on the bottom of the case that hold the bits in place are quite firm.
