Description of Tigar Ultra High Performance 245/40 R17 95W summer

The Tigar Ultra High Performance summer tire was developed for the most powerful versions of passenger cars of various classes by Michelin specialists. Its design uses technologies and materials created by the French tire giant, which ensured high technical performance. The tire is equipped with a tread with an asymmetric arrangement of elements. They form several functional areas. Shoulder blocks on the outside provide cornering stability. Two continuous longitudinal ribs located next to it give stable behavior during straight high-speed movement. Shoulder blocks on the inside provide traction properties in the longitudinal direction, i.e. during acceleration and deceleration. Another distinguishing feature of the tire is the increased size of the contact patch. They are provided with a specially selected tread profile configuration. It not only expands the contact surface, but also gives it an almost rectangular shape. As a result, not only grip has improved, but also its stability under the influence of lateral acceleration forces. Even at high speeds, the tire exhibits a low tendency to hydroplan. It is provided by the presence of four very wide longitudinal drainage grooves in the central part. Their performance is further enhanced by the large capacity of the transverse channels, which divert water outside the tread.

I bought a car in September in the Crimea on this rubber with a run per season. Traveled all over the Crimea, the South and home to Hong Kong. Dashed almost 6 t. Km. for 3 weeks (80% highway, 20% city), the temperature for the trip varied from + 38g to -5g. The rubber is very quiet, no matter what you write, soft - it swallows bumps with a bang. For the whole trip, not a single hernia, I was very surprised, because. continuous repairs all the way, I flew into such hard pits, and the disk…

Pros
  • - Very light. Size 245 / 45R18 weight after the season 9.7 kg (error 50-100g), somewhere in the net I came across a weight in this dimension of 13.7 kg. that's a lie. Due to weight - reduction in unsprung mass, increased suspension survivability, easier acceleration due to the moment of inertia (with the same wheel weight and size with heavy rubber and a light disk, this effect would not have happened) - Quiet - Auto fuel efficiency - Resistant to hernias - does not whistle at all - does not dube even at -30gr - does not feel the rut
Cons
  • - At a speed of 200-230 when braking, it hits the steering wheel, starts to "swim" - fast wear - not a very good grip

Size 205/45 R17. Rode 3 seasons. In general, I liked the tires. Grip on dry pavement is perfect. I was warned about the wet road that there could be problems, but I did not identify them. The speedometer readings match the GPS readings completely. What pressure to pump on a low profile? 2.0-2.1 - soft, but kind of like a flat tire, especially from the front. 2.2-2.3 - optimal 2.4 - harsh, great view 2.5-2.6 - tough, perfect look, problems with directional stability. At speeds over a hundred…

Pros
  • 1. Price 2. Behavior on the road
Cons
  • No

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

For such money, we can say that the tires are perfect and it makes no sense to fight. Tigar made in Serbia. In my size for that kind of money, only a terrible China. Korean rubber is one and a half times more expensive, European or Japanese - 2 times more expensive. Despite the unfortunate incident with balancing on one of the tires, the car drives as a result without any beats. At least up to 130km/h. I will never drive at speed again.

Pros
  • Decent tires for the price of a Chinese noname. Very soft and quite quiet. The steering wheel on the 45 profile is quite clear and responsive.
Cons
  • One of the 4 tires was balanced with a weight of 80 grams. Although, this may be the result of poor storage in the warehouse, since the rubber was released about a year before purchase. And yes, I don't have new wheels.

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

I ordered summer tires from the guys. I searched around the neighborhood and almost nowhere was there, because it was not the season. Accidentally stumbled upon a 74 wheel store, made an application, 10 minutes later they called. Discussed all the details and made the payment. After payment, they called back to say that the payment was made. After 2 days, the TC tires were sent as agreed. I took the tires from the TC, everything is new as it should. Packages were put as a gift (a trifle, but…

Pros
  • All at the highest level. Recommend this store
Cons
  • No

In the summer of 1919, I bought a Suzuki S-cross, shod in a worn Conti EcoContact. While driving the car home, an unpleasant rumble and itching got out all the way, I thought that the first thing to do upon arrival was to make a noise. And then it started to rain, as a result, a couple of times I almost flew off the wet road. Thoughts about Shumkov immediately gave way to thoughts of buying new tires. There was not much money left, so I was looking for inexpensive tires. The choice fell on…

Pros
  • Silence, handling, fuel consumption, braking, hydroplaning resistance.
Cons
  • Noticeable wear.

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

I was pleased with the rubber, price, appearance and proved to be very good. I recommend) I wrote a review, as soon as I swept in the downpour With its pros: The first advantage is the appearance of the tread, excellent grip on dry pavement, in the rain it cuts water perfectly, at a speed of 120 it didn’t even give a reason to throw it out of the rut! Braking at a decent level! Some cons: Responds poorly to markup, discards solid ones with a bang, as if LineAssist is standing

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

I bought a Tigar UHP 245/45 R18 and am quite satisfied. It feels like Michelin technology was used in the manufacture. A lot in common with the tires of this brand. As the owner of a 300 hp car. I responsibly declare - the hook is good.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Normal quality, you can use it.

The tires are not checked at the factory, there were no control points with the highest weight and the rubber itself was a little curved. In short, Michelin only owns this brand and cuts money; in terms of quality, this Serbian rubber is not a bit better than China.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

I’ve been riding since the end of February, when it’s time to shoot the winter coat (and in Hong Kong we shoot it in February), I immediately bought new balloons for summer slippers. I took tigars because the last three years I rode on their previous model (Sineris) Departure is worthy, so I did not think for a long time what to take. I looked at the market a bit in this budget, there is only China, and yes, China was normal, but I considered it a risky undertaking, so I took what I already…

Pros
  • The most important advantage is the price. More specifically, value for money. Soft, handles with dignity, beautiful tread)
Cons
  • Noisy, no matter who writes here. There are of course the Chinese who are buzzing harder. it’s not critical for me, but if you read custom reviews here and think that for 4 you will take 18th rubber without flaws, then you will definitely be upset

A good product, but having its own defects.

Do you move a lot? Do you keep your distance? Do you drive with traffic and don’t worry about extra grams of fuel? Then the Chinese is yours. You can play hooligans but carefully. Well, if you drive aggressively always and everywhere, it’s better to overpay for your own and other people’s safety. Has pros: I’ll compare it with the conti sport contact 3 that I looked for two sets of r18 245/40 and 265/35. The price is a clear plus for the Chinese. It probably behaves better in rutting. Has cons:

Revainrating 2 out of 5

You should not take it, it does not meet any standards.

You shouldn't even bother trying to convict the car of being biased because it drives regularly for its class. I have to mention that right off the bat. Car Seat Freetrack tfsi with a 200 horsepower engine. Made the decision to test my luck, but ended up being let down. The reasoning for this "ULTRA High Performance" prefix is not at all obvious. Confusing and likely to mislead. Yes, the car is in working order, BUT! There was no form of feedback provided. Before that, there was an older…

Pros
  • Price. The asphalt is considerably evened out and made more smooth by this soft material. When compared to the noise level of the city, rather quiet. Beautiful promises . Supposedly road tires with a maximum allowable speed of 270 kilometers per hour (km/h).
Cons
  • Does not share the same qualities as those that were declared. Does not enjoy driving in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, there is vibration felt in the steering wheel. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is the case because of the unique pattern of the tread, which resembles a flame tongue from the outside and is in the form of a pretty large checker. Feeling similar to being carried along by a small washboard. Also, don't even think about suggesting that I rebalance the wheels; I spent three years working in a tire fitting shop in the past, so I know what I'm talking about. I personally oversaw the balancing process and was present throughout the entire procedure. Although it is possible for the rubber to rotate, this does not occur; rather, it merely hits the tread in a hammering motion. Bringing it back into balance won't solve the problem.

Just a terrible product, very upset.

I am not interested in anything else. 2 side for summer 205/45/17 Always maintaining a pressure between 2.8 and 3.0 Because the roads in Hong Kong are of such high quality, it is a lot of fun to drive about the city. It is best to leave the Republic before the real trouble starts. When he made his way through the light for the second time in the summer, he freaked out and submitted a review since, prior to that, there had been two punctures and a thin wire had been able to make a thorough hole…

Pros
  • Wet grip
Cons
  • Very soft side!

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

With its positives being: On 245 45 18, there are 10,000 runs. Excellent in all respects. To a certain extent, gentle. It's not too loud. They roll quite nicely. Some drawbacks include the fact that the wide tread is more likely to pick up stones, which can cause the shoe to become unbalanced and requires the wearer to manually remove the stones.

The goods are normal, money is not wasted!

Auto Skoda Kodiak, size 235/55 18, strat from a standstill and braking at 5+, saved a couple of times from an accident, the car just stood up with a stake without ABS working. Not very noisy, but the native Yokohama was quieter. 3 out of 4 wheels are poorly balanced, in total they ask for up to 90g per wheel, whatever one may say, I drove in for a re-balance after 2500 km, nothing much has changed, while all the wheels began to jump slightly with an egg, but not due to the softness of the tire,

Pros
  • Good grip when starting and braking
Cons
  • In 235/55 18s are not particularly quiet.

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

Skated the season. Tires 100% satisfied Operation only city and highway. Acoustic comfort delivers. The price is good and the wear is acceptable Of course, you should not ask about braking from the owners of French cars, Peugeot, Citroen, and Japanese Honda can also stop on blank discs. But the owners of Koreans the information is useful With its pros: Auto Citroen c5x7 from inexpensive options is just a godsend! Soft, quiet, relatively strong for such rigidity. They wrote here that it is…

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

Car Alfa 159 TI, size 235/40R19. The cost of a set of this dimension from a famous brand costs twice as much. I decided to take a chance and try not to overpay for the name. Until I regret it. There used to be Pirelli PZero Nero - and so on a track with it, the car was thrown back and forth so that the neighbors shied away) Now I don’t notice the track at all on the Tigar. All because of the soft side. But now I'm even more afraid. In general, there are no complaints about the rubber on the go.

Pros
  • Cheap, not Chinese, good balance, does not make noise, behaves well in heavy rain. Well, the biggest plus for me is very stable even with a deep rut
Cons
  • Very soft board - I think hernias cannot be avoided. Well, the brand is not particularly "prestigious".

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

255/35/19. For 30 t. Km. driving "all the money" was erased to 0 on the front axle (front-wheel drive car 260 hp). On the rear axle peppy. I think to take a new one just before. There were serious hits in the pits and "chic" joints of bridges for 200+. But no tire damage was noticed during the entire period of operation. Of the obvious shortcomings, I can only note that the grip on acceleration after the first year of operation has pretty much decreased. Everything else is good. I recommend

Pros
  • +Price +Softness + Handling + Braking +Strength + Dry asphalt +Rain
Cons
  • -Wear -Overclocking

Like everyone else, I was seduced by the price, I looked at the reviews, where out of 100 only 5 were negative. I think, well, a good percentage, and there another man wrote that all the reviews were fake and the tires were bad, but I didn’t believe it. Well, in general, I put it on and I’m driving: it floats on the road and the car becomes less controllable, it tends to slip at the start (although I don’t gas), it breaks easily from bumps, it doesn’t pierce, but it breaks! Don’t even think…

Pros
  • Nothing about this rubber
Cons
  • Very weak on any bumps from which it tears like paper

Money down the drain, poor quality product.

Tires are not for low profile, not for fast cars. Comfortable driving around the city is their mission. Has some pros: The only thing I bought into was the price. But after installing tires on a car, this dignity ceases to be a dignity =) You can also note the spectacular appearance of the tread, for those to whom this is important. Its cons: The tires were purchased for a Corsa OPC with an initially stiff suspension. Tigar of this model was extremely soft, the driving experience was at the…
