Took a few minutes to install. Very easy. Here are some tips for those who have sterilized pads: - Cut off the top of the plastic plug that is underneath the pad. Don't try to cut out the entire outline of the plastic cap or it will look like crap. Cut a hole in the end cap and pull it out of the bed. you want the paint to show through - don't forget to cover something when painting or hang behind the cabin bed - make sure the knot is centered and that it opens and closes before tightening

Updated last review. I ended up installing them on the inner and center front mounting holes. Sturdy than I expected so while they don't attach to the top edge (and I'm not even sure if anyone makes them for my truck year) they will serve the same purpose and are very happy with them. I bought these because I felt I didn't want to cut holes in my pickup, this is my first brand new truck. I was hoping that for the price they would be genuine and they met and exceeded my expectations. Just remove the cap from the factory and they are easy to install when you feel comfortable. I suspect you do when you buy them. One thing to watch out for and not get frustrated with is when installing them make sure they are seated in the hole and the components are properly aligned.
