Not worth the money.

I have a small woodworking shop and I use a lot of sandpaper. I usually use the Diablo brand, but I was looking for something that could last longer. I chose this brand based on the reviews. That was a big mistake. These pads disintegrate within minutes of use. My assistant used 4 pads, which is what we usually use a Diablo pad for. I do not recommend this product for serious grinders. I'm staying with Diablo.

  • Elegant design

Don't waste time on this product

The packaging looked like it had been soaked in water for a while. The package partially falls apart. If it wasn't still sealed I would have thought it was a used/returned item. There is a white coating on a few discs and a mole on the back. I had to finish the project so I used the nicest CD in the kit. Didn't even sand the 2 x 7 table top before it was smooth (didn't work). I can't believe a company would even send out a draft like this.

  • Free for educational purposes

  • Hard to tell

Great value for money grinding wheels

My husband asked me to buy a certain brand of grinding wheels which cost a lot more than these. I did, but had to order them elsewhere because they were very specialized and would take over a week to ship. He wanted something fast so I read the Revain reviews and decided to buy some for temporary use. Well it turns out my husband LOVES them - and they are way better than the ones I've ordered elsewhere for triple the price. They have good strength, durability and we are happy with the value for

Great product and customer service!

I've heard a lot about these discs from other woodworkers and had to try them myself having been disappointed with other brand discs which I won't mention and am very happy with my purchase! I've ordered 80 and 120 grit, gone through 2 projects and haven't even scratched the surface on the first pad wear! No signs of wear like I've seen with other brands. I would highly recommend them to anyone! More bang for your buck and your money will go far with this product! Very satisfied! I was notโ€ฆ

Poor sanding quality Varnished wood

I used this to sand old kitchen cabinets and found Tigershark to perform very poorly. Thick, varnished pieces of wood stuck to the sandpaper almost immediately, after which it hardly sanded at all. I had to clean the sandpaper with a wire brush about every 30 seconds or replace the sandpaper with a new sheet. I had a 60 grit general purpose sander that I began to use to remove the original stained wood. After he got past the painted wood he did a great job so I gave him 2 stars. I've usedโ€ฆ

TigerShark is the only sandpaper I currently use.

After my first experience with sandpaper, TigerShark was immediately hooked! The issues I had in the past with uneven wear from other brands are no longer an issue. In my experience, these types last twice as long as some other popular brands. When refinishing and removing the old material I noticed a definite improvement in how they cut through the material without messing it up! What really impressed me is how the finer grit retains its abrasiveness while providing a smooth finish that I have

Outstanding Wheels

For many years I have only used Gator Finishing and Diablo wheels. Everything changed when I found out about Tigershark grinding wheels. Right out of the box they look more durable. They are significantly thicker than other brands and I think the thickness makes them last longer and won't crack. The anti clog design really works and I was able to sand the entire dining table base with a 220 grit wheel and a 320 grit wheel and both still had a long life. I've switched my shop to using Tigershark

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • Not bad overall, but...

NOT worth the extra price!

When I bought this product (60 grit) I was looking for a better sandpaper than the cheap sandpaper I had previously bought. I'm working on a BIG job of sanding 100 year old lime plaster (lime plaster, not the plaster crap most people are used to) so I know I'm pushing products to their limits. I'm essentially a grindstone because lime plaster, when it hardens, is essentially limestone. I paid twice as much for this product compared to cheap stuff. For this price I feel like I should get betterโ€ฆ
