Amazing Savings. Maybe you could save even more.

The only thing that would be better would be if Timken packaged the kingpin and hub bolts together with the wheel hub, of course they can't add a wheel hub nut as there are two options used with this part or the bolts Caliper brackets (which come in a much more expensive kit, so maybe more versatile). However, the three fastening screws must always be exchanged and can be included in the delivery. It also appears to be the same Timken made part as the one in the Motorcraft kit. And a word to…

Okay for installation, I'll know more in about 24,000 km.

MAN Oh MAN how great I don't hear my wheel bearings being ground. The front right side was replaced 15,000 ago when I was in a hurry to get the car ready for vacation ($300) and while driving to work a few months ago I had my wife bring the Explorer back for the left stock . fits perfectly 2002 Explorer XLT with ABS

The packaging was ok, not much foam or peanuts. , but then again, if you can drop it 3 feet and it breaks, you probably don't want to put it on your truck. Good build quality, the bearing proved to be much longer (deep) than the OEM I pulled out, compared, but this work was already 8 hours in the making and it was dark. The problem was not in the installation, but in the removal of the old one. Ford uses some sort of white thread lock that required a 2 foot break and all the body weight I could

Timken to win good for wheel

If you play around a lot with explorers/climbers on 3rd and 4th generation models, you know that front wheel bearings come out with a regularity of between 80-120,000 miles. I had 2 3rd and 4th generation climbers/explorers in my own stable and kept a few others for family members. I've tried cheap imported bearing assemblies and mostly they've died within 15,000 miles. Some of the cheap ones didn't even make it a block before falling to their deaths. Timken is an OEM for Motorcraft bearings…
