Great outlet! at Accessories & Parts

I bought this to remove and install nuts on our Challenger. We frequently swap wheels/tires for sprockets and back for regular wheels. This socket fits great and protects the wheels.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • So far so good

Protects your expensive wheels

I've spent over $900 on new rims and didn't want to scratch the paint around the nuts as it would quickly spoil. Great tool and plastic sleeve protect my rims while tightening. Nuts.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Protection

Nuts of very good quality

There is not much to say about the socket. He is doing exactly what he says he will do. It's quick witted, although I always hand tighten and tighten the nuts. Bought two, one for the tool box and one for storage in the truck.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than others

Nothing good with an impact wrench

They work great when you turn them by hand. However, if you use impact tools, the plastic will fall apart and the sleeve will quickly wear out and grab the nuts. I give it 5 for hand use, 1 for percussion use, 3 on average. But don't buy these if you use percussion instruments.

Pros
  • handy item

Working - did not break on impact

I bought this for the cleats on my 18 year old GMC Sierra SLT. I removed/installed all 4 wheels with my 1/2" cordless percussion drive. Pulled/installed 24 lugs (good, barely installed with one percussion and then torqued to 140 ft/lb with a torque wrench). My polished lugs were no damage.or wheels and no runout issues.can't complain at all.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Operating Speed

The perfect nest for your custom wheels so you don't scratch them!

Love it! A friend of mine who works with cars once gave me the advice if you can't get one of these, just wrap blue painter's tape around a stock car a few times for extra protection! I've always done this, but figured I'd need to buy an outlet to plug into my truck for roadside emergencies, and I settled on this one. I'm very glad I did and would highly recommend anyone with custom wheels to do the same.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
