I bought the TiVo for a number of reasons. First, my landlords pay for cable. I wanted to find a solution that would leverage rather than replace what I've already paid for. Second, many of the programs that I enjoy don't get on the air when I can watch them. Not only can I record them, but I can also record up to 4 shows at the same time. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I bought this box to go from cable to antenna. My return to Revain is already over as this process has taken some time. Tivo used to be exceptional. The user interface was very intuitive and easy to navigate. I've been using it for more than 17 years, almost since the first Tivo came out. There are (still) many positive aspects compared to many DVRs out there - scheduling videos for different shows is still very easy (hope they don't change this in the future) - show schedules are organized by season and easy to find and Watch any episode - just in case the episode isn't available but on Netflix, Hulu etc…

The bolt works as advertised and is pleasant to use. I bought both Bolts and a Mini for my home. I wish I knew then what I know now. Installation and setup would be much easier.
