Great lens on a camera Lenses

I bought this lens 3 years ago to photograph the interior of various monuments and churches in the Holy Land. That worked great. F4 is fast enough to capture higher ISO shots in places like the Church of Annunciation. I loved this lens so much that when I lost it in Maui last May I did my best to get my wife to buy me this replacement lens.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Best money I've ever spent

Needed a wide angle for my Nikon D90 and did a lot of research before buying. It was a lot of money for me and I wanted to make sure I picked the right lens. It would be possible to expand, but did not dare. Use it for real estate interior photography and it's a dream come true. No aquarium effect and wide enough for any home. And the lens quality is excellent. I also bought a new polarizing filter for panoramic shots and am very happy with both. good investment

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Very expensive

Tokina Wide Angle Lens

I've never had a true wide angle lens and after looking through all the review sites I settled on the Tokina 12-24 which best suits my needs. The lens is incredible in sharpness and light capture. This purchase exceeded my expectations for the quality of the lenses and the purchase of Revain through Adorama was extremely easy, pleasant and completed very well with no problems. I would recommend Tokina lenses to everyone, as well as Adorama and Revain lenses.

Tokina AT-XAF124DXN 12-24mm wide-angle lens for Nikon

On Nikon D7000. This lens is amazing. Solidly built so it has some weight. Focuses quickly, like every other Nikon I've tried seems accurate, but at 12mm it's not very blurry. Good range, lots of fun although I mostly use it up to 12mm. The photo quality is very good. Although I'm not a pixel counter. I make pictures to put on the walls and enjoy and if someone comes and likes I give them a frame and so on. A great way to change up the decor in a room. As far as technology goes, I leave that to

Very good lens good for lenses

Toklina 12-24mm f/4 very good lens. It has a solid construction and excellent optical quality. I usually use Nikon lenses on my Nikon camera, but the optical quality of the Tokina 12-24 is actually slightly better than the equivalent Nikon wide-angle lens. And this Tokina is about half the price of the equivalent Nikon, so choosing between them isn't difficult. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that there's actually a better wide-angle lens out there for a little more…

Pros
  • excellent general characteristics
Cons
  • not suitable for all

Wide-angle wonder on lenses

I bought the Tokina 12-24mm f/4.0 five months ago and if anything happens to this lens I'll be one in a heartbeat else buy an eye. Focusing on my D90 is quick and accurate, and the resulting images are very sharp. During my research I had reservations about buying this f/4 lens compared to the faster Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X116 Pro DX for Nikon AF. In practice, however, I had no problems using this lens in low light. This lens absorbs so much light that it auto-focuses when lenses one stop…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other lenses

I like this lens, suitable for camera lenses

I like this lens, better value than Nikon 12-24. I've had it for about five months now and have fired several hundred shots. Mainly landscapes and architecture with some large and personal shots. This lens has a slight distortion which is easy to fix in Photoshop or DxO if you want to remove the distortion. It can struggle for focus in low light, but it's no worse than the Nikon I've tried. It's built like a tank and doesn't weigh a ton. I like the manual push-pull focus ring, I can switch…

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great

I'm a tank, I'm a tank

After much thought and discussion I bought this lens. All the reviews about it were excellent, so it wasn't difficult. I want to say that everyone is right. This lens rocks. Period. This came installed on my Nikon D90 and it growls at me every time I try to take it off. Works fantastic. My current lineup consists of the 18-55 D40 kit lens, 22-500 AF-S VR, 38mm 1.8 AFS Prime and 50mm 1.8 AF. This Tokina lens is by far the most durable lens of all. It has a very solid construction. The focus and…

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

I bought a Sigma 10-20 before the tokina, but the lens turned out to be defective (the focus fell somewhere, if you didn’t interfere with your hands), I had to return it to the store. I took the token. Feelings are positive. I liked the lower distortion at the short end, subjectively - the current is even sharper throughout the frame than the sigma. The backlight holds quite and quite well. The only thing that is unpleasant is HA, but they are quickly eliminated in Photoshop. In general, if he

Pros
  • Size constancy when focusing and changing focal lengths, the front lens does not rotate. Solidly assembled, no backlash, everything rotates smoothly. Minimal distortion at the short end, much less than the Sigma 10-20, sharp throughout the entire range of the FR and throughout the frame. Yes, the edges are blurred, but I don’t think there is a wide area where this is not.
Cons
  • HA. Compared with the same sigma 10-20 f / 4-5.6 - XA are large. But if you shoot in RAV, then they are treated with one movement of the slider in Photoshop. 77mm filters. uh. not exactly cheap. I think that 20 thousand is a bit too much for this lens. On thousand 2 it is cheaper and in general beauty.

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

I bought it on March 3 in addition to the staffer 24-105 on the Canon 50D. The lens is not the main one, I consider focal 10-12 too extreme for myself, 24 at the long end is also good, less often refasten. Aperture is constant - good, on a full frame you can use from 18 to 24 - I checked it. Alas, by design, this is not L. Probably, these used to be uncompromising "iron" Tokins, and this one is pure plastic. The disadvantages of quality are visible in the details: an ugly back cover, a foil…

Pros
  • Normal design, constant luminosity, the ability to work on the FF, low price.
Cons
  • Worse than Canon.

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

I bought the lens before going on vacation, after reading a review about the first Tokina AT-X 124 PRO DX model on photAmazon. Having looked at competitors in the face of Sigma / Tamron, I decided to stop at it, and Canon EF-S 10-22 f / 3.5-4.5 USM pts. expensive is not much cheaper than the full-frame EF 17-40 / 4L. Shooting is always better with a hood. Night and day landscape shooting is impressive, but unfortunately I did not immediately buy a polarizing filter, I bought it with a Marumi…

Pros
  • Excellent build quality, the price-quality ratio is very good, the internal focusing system is sharp, the metal body, color reproduction, the presence of an ultrasonic motor, constant aperture over the entire length, viewing angle, the presence of a lens hood.
Cons
  • Not L-ka, EF-S lens, not suitable for full frame, expensive filters.
