🔧 Black Topeak F25 Wedge Pack Fixer Review

Bought so I can swap my bike bag between my MTB and Gravel bike. Both are tubeless, so all you need is basic repair tools and space for your wallet and keys. Breakdown while riding an MTB on a rough road. I was lucky that I heard the bag fall on the path, otherwise I would have had to search a long time. Recommend a seat belt when carrying a medium or heavy load in your bag.

These are made for Topeak Wedge Packs and I use them to store my tools and snacks in case my bike gets into trouble while I'm on a long ride in the country. . I have what is called a fixer so I can move my backpack between bikes. This is a practical and worthwhile purchase. I highly recommend having the tools with you to avoid a complete breakdown for you and your bike :)

I was very happy to use this saddlebag. The clip was screwed to a thick cardboard. I grabbed my hex wrench to loosen and remove it from this packaging and after removing it the little connecting nut slid out of the case onto the floor of my garage and rolled into oblivion. It took 1/2 hour of searching the ground to find it but to no avail. Makes this purchase pretty useless. Careful.

Works great, has one for each of my seven bikes, now all I have to do is remove the saddlebag from the saddle of the bike, to ride a bike instead of removing the tools, bike lock, and other things I need when I'm upgrading from a road bike to a big tire bike, cross bike, mountain bike, or whatever type or style of bike I own want to drive. I've also found that belt pockets tend to move and have found that a few friends have ripped their cycling shorts due to their seat pocket moving and rubbing

I ordered a second bracket to easily transport my saddlebag between bikes. When I went to adjust the position, the mounting screw was locked in the nut. Even when placed all the way back on the seat rails, the bag slopes down and takes up the entire seat post, leaving nowhere to mount the taillight. They can be installed on the bag itself, but the light will be directed downwards, reducing visibility. A slightly wider clamp mechanism would allow mounting on the back of the rails at an upward…

I think Topeak makes really good products. My wife has been using her HB bag for several years and it is great. I have a lot of bikes (20+) and changing seat wedges has always been a hassle. I've gotten my hands on used ones to try and mount many of these, but when I found a quick click seat bag I thought if only I could find more mounts it would solve my problem.
