Great product fits heads and headsets

I bought these because I needed to replace the fuel pump on a 1994 Ford Ranger pickup. I had to use a 2 foot rod to loosen the screws. These sockets survived without any problems. I bought this set for about what I would pay for just one outlet. Good product.

Nice set but one bit is broken

So far I have used 3 bits: T45, T50 and T27. The larger ones worked fine, but the tip (1/8" above) of the T27 bit broke off when I tried to loosen the screw. I emailed the manufacturer and they have a spare T27 bit sent which I have not received yet because it is coming from abroad This is a nice set in a nice plastic case.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Has flaws

Save money and get the best set.

T40 and the bottom is already screwed. The quality isn't there. I twisted the most installing the 1/4" ratchet body parts, so there wasn't much torque there. They twisted on first use making it useless as a professional or weekend warrior tool. I contacted the seller regarding the warranty and quality and got no response. That's why I recommend you save your money for something better.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Very expensive

I disassemble MINI COOPER cars and use Torx bits all the time. I don't use high-end tools because I will most likely lose them long before I break them These torx bits are the same bits you can find in big tool boxes in stores Neat finish Works Super cheap injection molded case Otherwise good value for money.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Upgradeable

ok Torx clamp set - be careful with tight screws

I recently bought a used Wrangler TJ and bought this set as most Jeep bolts are Torx. The set came new, there is a good storage box, the dimensions are correct. I've used them 2-3 times with no problems. When I used them to remove the door hinge bolts to install the roof rack, the tip broke off and scratched the Jeep. Remember these screws were tight; painted and provided with screw lock. I should have bought a well known/high quality brand instead. It was a game and I lost. Luckily the crackโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Good price and nice set!

Haven't had a chance to use these torx bits but they seem sturdy, well made and good value for money. They come in a nice molded case and seem to hold bits well. They were the size I needed for my seat belts in my car so I ordered them first. There should be practical tools at hand. Personally I hate the whole idea of torx bit screws, they come loose too easily and when they do you're stuck with a round hole and little options other than to start cutting, sanding or chiseling.

Good value set with case - used for BMW X3 (E83) 2009

Good set for the money! I needed this kit to work with my daughter's 2009 BMW X3 during the COVID quarantine. It didn't disappoint. It helped me with various jobs when needed: brake work (need to loosen 2 caliper bolts), shock absorber change (remove inner panel), change tensioner (need to loosen tension on pulley to remove poly V-belt) and removing plastic engine cowling to access belts and pulleys. Good range, none broken or torn.

Pros
  • Sockets and Socket Sets
Cons
  • Thin
