📶 High Speed Data Gateway: Arris Touchstone DG860A Cable Modem, Compliant with DOCSIS 3.0 Review

This is the exact model I rented from my ISP, but I had constant outages and service interruptions immediately after switching to this modem. I've waited too long to install to get a refund, so I have to pay for a product I can't use. The model itself is fine as the model I got from my internet company works great. (I'm just tired of renting). I just think this seller may be selling a defective item.

Contacted ISP to help with installation and serial numbers and passwords were not applicable to the device I received. It wasn't clear how the serial numbers on the manufacturer's packaging matched the serial numbers on the device, but the internal maps didn't match. Frontier says it probably happened on the assembly line. Frontier could not help ensure device compatibility even though this modem is on the allow list.

This router/modem worked fine on a direct connection but didn't work at all for WiFi, it didn't broadcast. I spent almost 2 hours. with Time Warner Techs and they were unable to fix the problem. I contacted ARRIS technical support and they told me that this model is not intended for retail sale and that they (Arris specialists) have no technical information about it and cannot help me.
