Installed this update on a 2016 Toyota Avalon. Replaced the original card chip with this one and started Avalon. Installs the software (like new sound software) and then prompts the system to reboot. When the Entune system fully booted, the system had new sound software as well as map data (4/19). Moved from May 15th to April 19th. The system works well. Easy to install and operate. What more can you ask for?

I looked at Revain for this because the dealer wanted over $200 for a 2018 upgrade for my 2016 Prius. Toyota didn't even have a 2020 update. Bought and installed in 15 minutes. Turn off the machine, open the small door and remove the power like a map, noting which way the brass pins go (I had them on the bottom). Install the card by pushing it inward. This is a great buy! It looks like a real, live, genuine Toyota part at a bargain price. You can't help but wonder how. The map database says '2020-04-0', suggesting it is April 2020. Whether this is actually the "last" is unknown. It's May 2021 (at the time of this review), so it's possible Toyota will take a year to put map data into SDRAM, or if a 2021 version becomes available. Yes, it's a genuine Toyota part, but it's not the newest. I'm sure the seller bought old software cheaply from resellers to sell here. The latest is 86271-0E185 (listed on the card itself). It is very easy to install on my 2016 Highlander Hybrid (purchased December 2015). I got an error message that I couldn't read the map data initially, but the infotainment system kept running and restarted and was then able to apply the update.
