I give it 4 stars because you have to mark all supports before installing because the screws that hold the bar on are behind the rail. Directions are worthless. So needless to say this kit has very nice looking hardware, just a simple design flaw, I ALSO HATED THE END CAPS because they don't like to stay on, along with the guides for the floor! We purchased the Stainless-steel Top Mount Slide. After gathering all our tools, we were upset that there were NO INSTRUCTIONS, pics or directions at all. Went back on the ebay site to try and figure it out. Still have no idea what the 2 stainless steel discs connected w/ a threaded rod are. We decided to drill a hole and use it a our finger knob to slide the door. Otherwise it glides nice and quiet.

Great product! Quick turnaround from order to delivery, it looks fantastic and the customer service was excellent. We read previous reviews regarding needing a connector piece if you were putting up more than one 8 ft track and we emailed customer service and almost immediately received reaponses and the connector piece we needed. Nice shiny product.lol.I'm a contractor and 90% of my jobs are doors. I've done my share of barn doors and know how to hang them.The directions for this product are non-existent.I literally attached 2 rollers to the door. I attached a wall bracket to the rod then measured from the bottom of the door to the bottom of the bracket the added 3/8" for floor to door clearance.- A wall bracket screw was stripped.had to go buy another one.- the middle connector with the rubber gaskets refused to fit…

I was skeptical this would be a high quality sliding door track system. The price was much less than 50% of what most systems were selling for and only 1/4 the price of the top of the line ones. But when it arrived and I unpacked each piece the quality of the materials and workmanship were obvious. It was quite easy to install, even with only a one page pictorial instruction sheet. Got around to installing the track this weekend and discovered I had the wrong set of instructions with my hardware. There was no customer service available to me in a timely manner nor could i find the proper instructions available anywhere on the internet. The hardware itself was fine but had to muddle through the installation. Disappointed.

Very poor design. Although the rollers roll smoothly, the roller assembly (where it meets the door) has a stop designed to prevent the rollers and the door from coming off the rail. The problem is that these are too separated from the rail (too separated from the roller and too close to the door), so if anyone lifts the door a bit (less that 1/2 inch) the door will come off the rail. This has happened to my children twice already, and we have a very heavy door. And they cannot be placed higher…

Wonderful product. It's not easy to find hardware that allows for wide openings like this does. Nicely finished, easy to install. Comes with guide for the floor. Why pay $1000 more?

What a beautiful and smooth working system.I opened a small 23" bathroom door into a 60" wide opening and wanted to utilize a barn door for access and looks.The instructions are not the greatest, but if you use some commonsense it's a snap. First locate where the studs are,that is the most difficult part. Then place the roller assembly on top of a door to determine the correct height to hang the dooroff the track. As others have stated, very poor instructions, very poor. Weird dimensions given, i.e. 25/64, like someone is going to measure down to that accuracy? (FYI: that is 1/64 over 3/8.) The end caps don't stay in at all on mine. I have to cut it down a few inches so I/m hoping the new ends in the pipe will be tighter as the factor ends look like they have a bevel otherwise I'll epoxy them on. And no hints on how to cut it - I'm going to first try a hacksaw but I doubt I'll get very far. I right-angle

Beautiful hardware, even the installer liked it better than another (black) he had installed for us. One roller was defective and made a noise when rolling. It took a few weeks (it looks like it came from China) but BD Hardware replaced the correct part and I am very happy with this experience.

It was sort of easy to work with (1 page instruction guide was "meh”), but with my house mates engineering skills, we found the studs and attached it to the wall. On the door top, you may want to place the roller guides closer to the side that will be facing the door opening. This allowed us to have a tight tolerance when the door was closed. This kit had the perfect size for this wall and I think it came out alright.

The product itself is ok. The design has a small flaw (visible in pic) in it but the quality is there. What is outstanding is the customer service I recieved when I made arrangements to return. I emailed them and within minutes began trading mails with a very caring and knowledgable person. In the end, I decided to keep the product and make a change to it to satisfy my concerns.The customer service was far beyond anything I expected. I highly reccomend this supplier.

First, directions are horrible. Second the roller that sits on the bar shows a bottom guide that your supposed to put back in place after you sit the door with the roller on the bar. The bottom guide is spaced way to far down, this will not keep the door from falling off. Not sure how I’m going to fix this problem yet.

I have a bathroom that I needed to make more handicap accessible. I'm faced with a problem that this barn door kit seems to solve. First off, I specifically purchase this for the fact that the hangers can be mounted separately. I don't need to have a header to mount this bar, instead I can place these mounts exactly where the studs are.
