Works great for charging my son's NiMH batteries for his Traxxas E-Revo 1/16. A full charge takes about 30 minutes, which is about 15 minutes of driving time. It will most likely move to LiPo at some point in the future, but this charger will suffice until that upgrade is made.

Great entry level charger. This should have been initially included by Traxxas in their RTR iD kits. Charges 5,6,7 batteries. That means it also works with 1/18 scale Latrax vehicles, which is also a bonus. The 4 megapixel 12V DC charger that comes with the Traxxas Ready to Run iD trucks only charges 6 and 7 batteries. In my opinion buy this and a 3000mah NiMh 8.4v battery with a standard Traxxas truck and you'll be a lot happier. Highly recommended for basic charging needs.

Complete piece of shit. Have gone through 3 of these things and none of the supercharged ones. Traxxas only have a 30 day warranty so I'm glad I tested them the same day I received them and found that they flash red once the batteries are connected. Flashing red indicates an error that cannot be cleared by disconnecting the charger or batteries. Now we'll probably have to resort to the 12V car charger that came with the truck. I don't know why Traxxas is doing this other than to piss off their customers into buying more product from them... but whatever the reason, this charger is a must have for 1/16 E- Revo owners ! I bought a Traxxas Skully that came with a car charger rather than a wall charger to charge the battery (because we all live in our cars and using a car charger instead of a wall charger for Traxxas was smart), so I was forced to buy this one to buy is an extra charger so I can connect the battery to the outlet.
