Great for protection.

Over the past month I have tried various knee pads - Generic, G-Form Pro Slider, Protec Street and finally these Triple 8 Street Knee Pads. This is the pair I will keep. The fit is great and the ability to adjust both the inner sleeve and outer band is great. They offer a good large area of protection. I think the Protec Street pads were a little better but the fit was terrible and these Triple 8 pads are very similar. It's a great price too!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Frequency

Super good good for protective equipment

They are great and seem reliable. I wear a size small. At first I was concerned that I was wrong in sizing as they seemed too small for me. I left them on for a while to try and break them but it was still a little off. Then I had the great idea of changing the knee pad from the right knee to the left and from the left to the right. Big surprise! Now they sit comfortably and don't pinch at all. Maybe I put her on the wrong knee? They don't really say how they go, but they fit great with theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Minor issues

Big and flashy but not for super thick legs

Update after wearing them I ended up ordering a medium size. The outer straps work better on a mid-top for me. The velcro is better for the bigger ones, overall the medium size was suitable. I like these knee pads because they are big, hard, and smooth (so they slide and don't get caught). because I thought it would end up being an "adult" size, and I think I was right. I'm not tense, but I have skinny legs. If you're the big dude at the gym who never skips leg day, you might need to lengthenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Expensive

The medium ones are too small, but the big ones are too big!

I only measured between large and medium according to their size chart. I ordered a large one because I decided I didn't want these knee pads to be too tight. The big ones were incredibly big for me. The plate portion was clearly protruding on either side, and I felt I had to close the Velcro very tightly to keep the knee pad in place. So I traded in for a medium that didn't even grab my leg. So much for the right between sizes. I believe if you fit perfectly into one of the size ranges theseโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

You don't have to take off your shoes to put on the knee pads

I was looking for knee pads without taking off my shoes and found them. Not sure which is less of a problem: Triple 8 insoles where I don't have to take my shoes off, or insoles where I have to take my shoes off? My insoles that I need to remove from my shoes have an elastic cuff that slides over the foot/leg, after which you attach the insoles with Velcro. The Tripe 8 pads are similar except the inner sleeve separates and opens with Velcro straps. There are external straps, like my other pads.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No weapon
