License Plate Mounting 🚗 Bracket for Subaru by Trunknets Inc Review

Works great on my 2020 Subaru Outback. I moved to Texas from a state that didn't require faceplates. We needed both the hardware and something to put it on and it works great. Has a solid base so my faceplate doesn't bend easily. The screws fit into the holes in the front bumper without pre-drilling the holes.

Exact copy of what you can buy direct from Subaru. Perfect fit for my Forester 2019. Very easy to install and comes with all necessary screws. You'll need your own screwdriver, but it's not that difficult. Would highly recommend this to other Subaru owners looking for a front mounting plate for their car/SUV.

This plate mount attaches to your Subaru's padded bumper. The plastic bumper has two indentations that you use to align. You can pre-punch the hole with an awl (or an ice pick) so everything lines up when you screw in the included screw. Just do it by hand with a screwdriver so you don't overtighten it with a screwdriver.

I bought this for the front bumper on my 2020 Subaru Outback Touring XT. While I like the mounting plate and installed it as advertised, I was expecting a more secure fit. It's attached with just two screws and looks a little wobbly. There should have been a contour seal between the bumper and the bracket. It's still better than the factory license plate bracket. Potential (and former) buyers beware. I've been using this license plate holder on my 2019 Forester for a year and a half. Today I decided to remove my number plate to clean up afterwards and was shocked and disappointed to find that the rubber mounts had permanently soiled and damaged my paintwork (photos attached).
