TJLJ YJ Security Deck Enclosure - Black, US Pat. No. 8,256,819 Review

I'm glad I spent the money on this box. My TJ is my hunting gear and this box helps me feel safe knowing my gear is locked. I added a removable 16ga steel back and a lock to the lid. So if someone gets into my jeep, that's at least another level of the castle.

I have many Tuffy products and they are the only company I can trust to protect my property not only in jeeps but also in trucks. I've wanted this safety deck railing for a long time and was finally able to afford it. Easy installation, excellent quality, clear appearance and protection in the packaging was too bad. I get so many compliments on this box and have made treadmills and daily errands a dream come true. Definitely worth the price.

It's not perfect, it doesn't quite match. I'm not sure if it's because I don't have enough original equipment for my Jeep and I improvised, or if one of the walls (on the passenger side) is slightly curved (that's how it was out of the box). So when I close the lid, all I have to do is hold a string on one side to hold the lid in place. Otherwise I like it. I recently got an 04 TJ as a flood protection vehicle in bad weather to work as a lifeguard. It's a soft top so I wanted some sort of lockable drawer to keep things safe. I stumbled across this and as I was planning on removing the back seat it was perfect for my needs. I pulled out the seat and carpet and installed the box per the instructions.
