Bought the tuffy pig and my dog tore through that in under 4 hours. We have had this for 2 weeks and so far still perfect condition. He can play tug-of-war and chew it all day and it still holds up. It also has the added benefit of being adorable when he runs around with it on his nose. This is a tuffy toy that really does hold up.Update: about 3 months later and the toy is still doing great. A little frayed around the edges but he hasn't torn through it yet. It also survived spending a month…

Don’t waste your money!

Ordered this based off good reviews but, my dog had this in her mouth less than 5 mins and already a hole down to a bunch of cotton stuffing that would’ve been all over my house had I not intercepted. We also ordered another toy of the same brand and same thing happened. Very dissatisfied with this brand.

Pros
  • Provides endless entertainment and stimulation for your pet
Cons
  • May not be very durable in the long run

vicious cycle: my feedback

this is the cycle of this tuffy toy with my 35-lb doodle:1) doodle chews a hole through this toy in literally 5 minutes and starts ripping the stuffing and squeaker toys out.2) furmom (yours truly) throws away the little white stuffing clouds that are now all over the house and also tries to pulls out the stuffing that is exposed in the toy.3) partially-stuffed fabric exoskeleton keeps doodle entertained for about a month. in the meantime, furmom has to pick up and vacuum all the little bits of

This is one tough toy

Great for tug of war and fetch, heavy enough, balanced, my dog can get her nose through the middle, which makes for some hilarious photos. We inherited the smaller size, already used, and it has withstood every test. The toy stays outdoors through rain and snow and still holds together. She has chewed the edges but she can't pull it apart. I bought this one, the larger size, about five months ago. My dog is a 40 lb golden doodle. Either size is good. I think she actually prefers the smaller…

Not indestructible but nothing is for Pitbulls

It stood up to my doggie a lot longer than I thought it would! I ordered another. The pic doesn't do the old one justice but most of the stuffing is gone after two months. I'm happy the stuffing is cotton, even though he spits most of it out. Not sure how they rated it a 9 on the indestructible scale but they do say nothing is indestructible. I believe it lived up to its promise for a destroyer dog like mine. Will probably keep buying them.

Great Toys, Wish They Were Stronger

Great toys, but I wish they were tougher.I have 3 dogs that played with this. A lab/hound puppy that's 3 months old, a 10 yr old 90lb mastiff/american bulldog mix, and a 3 year old 120lb Irish Wolfhound.I have mixed feelings about these toys. I really like the Tuffy brand, I think they tend to have solid products, but they're not strong enough for my dogs. And, I would love to have a variety of stuffed toys that squeak and hold up against my dogs. Unfortunately, this toy lasted less than a…

My dog loves these, machine washable

Easy to wash, my small dog LOVES these. Loves to gnaw on the multiple pointy edges and sometimes sticks his snout through the middle and it blocks his eyes. Very sturdy, can leave them out for him and not worry about him destroying them. Wash them a few times a month with no problems.

Pros
  • Toys
Cons
  • Too heavy for small dogs to carry around

Almost Labrador Proof.almost.

Our lab loves these. I bought a few but, she does eventually destroy them to get to the plastic squeaker inside (choking hazard) so we only let her play with it while we're with her. It works great for TV time but after about 3 weeks she eventually shreds it and gets her "prize" inside, which I have to toss out. Kind of like a cracker jack prize for dogs.

Pros
  • Squeak Toys
Cons
  • May not appeal to all dogs' preferences

Toughest soft toys ever

Our boys love soft toys…but they also love to CRIME. These are about the only things that stand up to their wild play sessions for any length of time. Nothing is indestructible but these are definitely worth the money. I love all the options, too, I buy a couple new ones every few months!

Pros
  • Dogs
Cons
  • May not be suitable for outdoor use

Puppy fodder: my feedback

Our 7 month old mini golden-doodle chewed the stitching off in no time and was pulling the stuffing out. Initially we thought it was good and he loved chasing the little frisbee type toy but once he pulled off the stiching we had to throw it away.

Pros
  • Attractive design and color offer a cute and adorable look
Cons
  • Material may not be non-toxic or safe for dogs

Careful on Sizes for my opinion

I love this toy for my pup who is a big chewer. I will always get this go to you for my dog. The only thing is, be careful on the sizes. Regular is not a regular size. I would say that is for extra large and large dog sizes. Junior is definitely the size I need for my 40 pound dog. A little deceiving…at least Ebay makes returns easy and free. Going to grab the junior size now!

Pros
  • B003QUTW96
Cons
  • Dogs may lose interest in it quickly

He had a blast tossing it around and shaking it at first. It seemed pretty durable! Then he set in to chew it. Within seconds, I noticed he had applied his back molars to the edge and heard a sound. Sure enough, he had frayed the black edge already. I had to take it away from him because once something gets frayed like that he starts eating the fibers and I don't want to end up at the vet with blocked intestines.

Pros
  • Outlasts other dog toys on the market
Cons
  • May not be as comfortable to chew on as other toys

BEST dog toy I have found.

Beautifully made, BEST dog toy for sturdiness I have found. I bought this same version for my 2 goldens years ago and it lasted through 2 more dogs after that. Worth every penny. My lab does chew the corners/points but it is not even close to being destroyed. Will buy again when needed. Tuffy is the very BEST in my opinion.

Pros
  • Perfectly sized for dogs of all breeds and sizes
Cons
  • May not be able to withstand repeated outdoor use

Really lasts! in my review

There is no cloth toy by dog can’t destroy, but this one is the most durable I’ve found, even more than some Kong toys I’ve bought. Of course it quickly gets ripped apart, stuffing and squeaker removed over time, but she still loves and plays with it and it’s still somewhat recognizable compare to what it once was.

Pros
  • Floats in water for beach or pool days with your pet
Cons
  • May not have enough texture to keep dogs interested

The Tuffy toys are the best! My 'Kara' can destuff a toy pretty quickly - but not a tuffy toy which no matter how much fun she has tossing it and grabbing it to chew on, will last for months.I only buy tuffy toys for her now.

Pros
  • Made from eco-friendly materials
Cons
  • May not be very easy to toss or fetch

Good Durable Soft Toy

Both of my larger dogs love this toy and take turns with it. They have played tug with it quite a bit and it is still holding up well. The material feels soft, which I didn't expect for a toy marketed as durable. This is the right size for my bigger dogs (both about 60 lbs) and probably even bigger dogs. the squeaker still works, which is surprising, although it is hard to work and was from the very beginning. The dogs are excited to play with this and it is holding up, both of which make me…

Pros
  • T-U-GR-RP
Cons
  • May not be suitable for aggressive games of tug-of-war

Good for small chewers

No toy will last forever with my manic munchy chi-mix, but this one definitely outlasts any other toy I've tried so far. He doesn't like hard toys, so this is soft enough to entice him while tough enough to survive a few non-consecutive weeks of chewing. He's small, so he'd get more out of it than a more powerful chewer would. He does have to be carefully monitored because the toy will begin to fray and he'll ingest the strings. Once I cut the strings off, he's good to go.

Pros
  • Can withstand heavy outdoor use and environmental factors
Cons
  • May not be as easy to clean as advertised

NOT as durable as advertised;Lasted a day and a half 🙁

For the price I paid, I really thought this was going to be a well made toy that would last longer than the average dog toy, but it wasn’t.This is advertised as a tough, un-breakable dog toy but with my dog, this was not the case. I purchased the large round chew toy and before the end of day 2 it was tearing apart. I have a 3 year old Boxer who loves toys and this did not withstand her playing and chewing it. She played with it, maybe 3-4 hours the first day and by noon the next day I had to…

Pros
  • Stimulates your dog's natural instincts to play and hunt
Cons
  • May not be very durable against rough play
