Save your money, it's not designed for a legacy engine.

I have a 2009 Subaru WRX, the stock valve uses an o-ring to seal, this one uses a stock gasket. Exactly the same seal as in the factory is not possible. Factory hoses do not connect well. The description says it would fit this but it doesn't but do I have to pay for shipping? Pretty ridiculous, I wasted time installing, now repackaging and now I'm losing money. If you have an outdated engine setup, save your money on this one. Actually, I read from the reviews that it doesn't fit the STiโ€ฆ

Fixed my squeaking/whistling when accelerating.

Great things. There was an annoying whistling noise from my old BPV not closing fast enough when I let off the gas while driving conservatively. I noticed this when I entered Stage 1 taking Cobb SF. I removed the air intake and put it back in stock and still noticed the noise. So I decided to bite the bullet and buy this one, hoping it won't displace my WRX. Sounds like stock with a shorter "CHHH" when I switch to WOT. Fits perfectly on a 2010 WRX Hatch, literally took me less than 5 minutes to

There are better options

Bought this for my 09 WRX after reading decent reviews and because it is one of the cheapest recirculation valves which is obviously not a part. Well, this one is not a winner. I swapped out the Forge recirculator, thinking it would be less sensitive and a little quieter. I was right about both because it rarely worked on any build other than WOT, and when it did you could hardly tell. I think it's good for the factory noise level. The bad news is that you can easily hear the turbine chatter as

I emailed turbo smart again but instead of offering to help me.

Bought by Revain a few months ago to replace the factory BOV as it increased the thrust. It worked fine for a while (I thought) until I set it up. My tuner told me he was having trouble maintaining consistent thrust and suspected my BOV was leaking. I pressurized the system and indeed the BOV was leaking. I contacted Turbosmart and spoke to their customer service (Kristen I think?) and at first thought I'd take care of how quickly they would respond. However, I soon realized that they would not
