🤿 Enhance Your Scuba Diving Experience with the TUSA SP-0101 Hyperdry Elite II Snorkel Review

Bought to replace an old snorkel with a broken clip. I assumed that the clip for the snorkel (two parts, one attaches to the snorkel - the other attaches to the goggles of course - that's not enough). Can't see in the pictures, both clips should have been there. I'm coming back and need to buy another brand. THE CLIP WAS THERE - MY MISTAKE.

Tusa have been used for many years so I know they have a solid design. The reason for the 3 stars is that the way it attaches to the mask is not a great design. I went to the sea once after receiving it and it detached from my mask and got lost. Luckily, other Tusa models have a better connector, so I'd recommend getting one that's one-piece and fits over the mask strap.

Love it - bought 3 for my wife and daughter. Easy to breathe, easy to position and nice because the clip allows for quite a wide swing back and forth and stays dry when you hold the mouthpiece. You'll need to delete it if you switch from regulator to hose (right?). All in all a decent piece of gear and we like the different colors which are really well made compared to others that look like cheap plastic.

Purchased for our snorkeling trip to Key West, Florida - Decent purchase - Wife and kids bought cheaply at gear rentals. Definitely a dry snorkel - I didn't have water in my mouth on 2 trips with mask and snorkel - the mouthpiece is very comfortable compared to their snorkels, very flexible and holds up well on the Tusa mask which I also bought from Revain. This is the best whistle I've ever used in my life and I've used more whistles than I can count. It's worth every price. I was worried about spending so much on it, but I can't express how much it was worth. Feels good in the mouth, you get nice long breaths and when you go underwater the top valve keeps water out. It worked every time. I was able to dive for the scallops, come out again, and the water didn't get in. It worked great. I highly recommend it.

This tube appears to have quality control and construction issues: the top portion sticks at times, the flexible portion is made of very thin silicone making it structurally strong tube often flops when closing the tube dry tops By replacing the Tusa flex section with the Mares silicone flex section, this hose is quite reliable. I do not recommend this product. Edit - Also changed the nozzle which improved usability. A $50 tube doesn't need to be modified to make it usable.

Used this snorkel for a week. I'm not thrilled with how it attaches to my mask - it's always too slanted backwards. My friends' tubes were mounted a bit more vertically and they were more comfortable. It worked well and didn't leak water through the top valve which was fantastic. On the second day of swimming, he began pulling water by bottom blowing. I originally bought this for myself because I liked the idea of a drying mechanism to keep water out of the tube. However, if even a little water gets in there, the valve will block the air and you will have to blow to remove it. it just stops and you run out of air! It's very scary when you're ready to suck in air, but it's completely blocked.
