Effortless Engine Maintenance

This tensioner made my automotive routine so much easier with its automatic adjustment feature. No more manually tightening and worrying about the correct tension. It's also a durable and long-lasting product. The only downside is that it's slightly on the pricier side compared to other tensioners in the market..

Pros
  • Reliably maintains proper tension in Chevrolet engine belts.
Cons
  • Not compatible with vehicles made by other manufacturers.

It caused me a lot of trouble!

The tensioner almost failed to compress when installing the belt, resulting in excessive stress on the tensioner bolt and eventual bolt failure. I had to haul and use an angle drill and screw extractor to remove the threaded portion of the screw that was still in my engine block. It wasn't a good deal after all the trouble it caused. I was able to confirm that the real piston that is supposed to be compressing got stuck after I fixed everything.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Slightly Cracked
