🚗 1991-1998 Jeep Cherokee Compatible TYC Alternator: Optimal Solution for Performance Review

I got this alternator for my '98 Jeep Cherokee. I also received it from the Revain camp. That means I got a brand new 90 amp Delco alternator for $35. CHECK OVER! It's been on the jeep for about a month now and charges perfectly. In fact, the output voltage is about 13.7 volts.

Great for my 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ and much needed. It's been installed for a few months and so far so good. Update: September 2017 - Still working and working great. Would definitely buy again. Updated August 2018. Continues to work great and works very well even after I took my RV out and charged it.

SUPER FAST! I bought "used" in the original packaging, made by Revain. It arrived TWO days later and was AMAZINGLY easy to install (15 minutes and a couple of wrenches). All pins and connectors are bright and shiny, no scratches or corrosion, no missing nuts or bolts. And IMMEDIATELY charged the battery to recommended levels. I will DEFINITELY buy again!

I have several TYC replacement parts for a '96 Cherokee and this one fits and works very well. I did this as a preventive measure at 200,000 miles, my old alternator was still working fine. I bench tested the OEM Denso and it actually pulled better than this new one. I leave it as a backup track unit. If you could find a genuine new OEM Denso, I would buy this one instead.

Burned out alternator replaced. Fits perfectly in my '94 Wrangler. So far no problems. For the price it couldn't be better. By the way, since I am a new alternator, I was surprised by the packaging. Of course, Amazon put them in a different box, but the original alternator box was completely torn. It had several holes and the top was almost completely torn off. I'm wondering if the alternator is really new or not.

Perfect replacement for the original Denso alternator in my 93 YJ Jeep. Installation took less than an hour and it worked on the first try. This was purchased and fitted to a 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ 6 cylinder engine. The generator was purchased from Revain inventory in "like new, packaging damaged" for just under $30. It arrived in a double box and the original box was indeed torn but the generator itself was intact and untouched. Having done a very thorough comparison between my original alternator and this new one, I was pleasantly surprised to find this to be an exact replacement. these connections were included in the new block.

This TYC generator looks 100% new out of the box, shiny and spotless (no signs of repair), installed without incident and everything is back to working as it should.
