UbiBot WS1 Pro: WiFi Temperature Sensor with Alerts & Remote 🌡️ Monitoring - Wireless Thermometer Hygrometer & Temperature Data Logger, IFTTT Compatibility (2.4GHz WiFi) Review

This unit does what it's supposed to and looks solid. I use it to monitor a greenhouse on the edge of our WiFi coverage. I leave it plugged in so I can't solve the battery life issue - batteries in our situation to back up. I liked the flexible alarm settings and the easy system setup. enough that I've already bought another device for use elsewhere. No surprises after two months of use.

Works as advertised and I was really shocked. We use it to monitor a (small) data center and provide humidity, temperature and power alerts. Notifications are sent both via SMS and email. Paying by SMS is a great feature (2 cents each). The IoT features have a great dashboard with the ability to share, generate reports, view historical data, etc. Highly recommended, especially for the price. PS: There was no problem setting the device to Wi-Fi or the app.

It took me a little time to get used to the device. For my job I need to be able to download PDF files. There are very few instructions on how to do this, but after many hours of searching, I was able to find a web-based management console that can be accessed from a PC. Purchased to be able to monitor aquarium temperature remotely (using an additional 'DS18B20' sensor which we also purchased from Revain from the manufacturer of this unit which connects to this unit via USB-Micro). The product does what it should and is very easy to set up. It works seamlessly with IFTTT, which makes it such a consumer-friendly product. I use it to monitor my humidor and it turns the refrigeration as well as the humidifier on and off via 2 Smart Life WiFi outputs, saving cigars if humidified too much.
