God sent the best power converters

I've been looking for a buck converter with these particular peripherals for over a year now. This is ideal if you have a 12v barrel battery and want to power the robot.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Great for Arduino and Raspberry Pi

I only needed one to power my Arduino project so I used the other to power my Raspberry Pi. Delivers good, clean power and doesn't trigger the Raspberry Pi's low voltage warning like some other power supplies. Next on the list is building a case for it.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some little things

Both modules are defective

Both modules are defective. The first shorted out my 9V battery connected to the power supply input, but it worked fine on the DC jack connector. The second only worked sporadically at first. I found that the output capacitor has a bad connection. When I pressed it it worked, but then it fell off.

Pros
  • Awakens confidence
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Suitable for powering Raspberry Pi 4B

RPi reported low voltage. Tried several configurations, all reported low voltage. review written. Tried a few more configurations. Finally tried USB to Micro USB charging cables with 22ga power lines. IS WORKING! The problem is not with the converter, but with the Type-C charging cable circuitry, which relies on a higher voltage to increase performance. Poorly. Rest assured that these small boards can deliver the performance your RPi4 needs, but only with a strong enough cable.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
