Beautiful Afghan Patterns with Creative Twist

After trying this innovative ebook, I was blown away by the unexpected techniques that were used to create these stunning afghans. The patterns are traditional, yet fresh, making for truly unique pieces to add to my knitting and crochet collection. The only downside is that it's only available digitally, which may not be ideal for those who prefer physical copies for their arts and crafts.

Pros
  • Provides innovative techniques for traditional Afghan patterns
Cons
  • Some users may find the instructions difficult to follow without prior knitting experience

Not for the faint hearted!

The book contains great patterns and lots of new stitches to learn! Don't be fooled by the simple afghan pattern on the cover - these are intricate patterns and it takes a little work to get them right! After getting started and untangling the 'Vik' afghan panel a few times (more like an 8th), I settled on a lighter cable afghan in the book to get my footing again. I am an avid knitter and have made many Afghan items; This is the perfect gift for any seasoned knitter looking for something new.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Already made two blankets!

I made Exploded Pineapple and Smocked Elegance quilts from this book. I am new to crocheting and this book contains a variety of crochet blankets and techniques to help me grow as a knitter. Quilts range from heavy to lacy, striped to granny themed and have great tips for every project. I want to do Starburst Entrelac and Mission Cable quilts, but I'll have to wait until I have more time to devote to those projects. I recommend this book to both beginners and experienced knitters.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
