BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE: I received a defective device, the seller exchanged it, resolved the situation.

Update: As promised the seller sent a replacement assembly and replacement parts for defective ones, I will attribute it to a manufacturing defect in the steel gears issue. I admire the customer support for the BMG clone and have changed my rating! Update: The new extruders work great, I'm just unlucky, I got a bad one. I ordered multiple units and many of them arrived with parts missing.1. The stepper motor gear had no hole drilled for the grub screw, it could not be used.2. Missing spring and

Quality extruder BMG! It's worth it. (Due to lack of equipment I had to request replacements)

tl;dr: Missing material has arrived. Installed it backwards on an Alex FW powered Aquila, along with improvised potato equipment, and it worked surprisingly well. The replacement came with all the hardware. Buy it. ------------ How can such a beautifully packaged box be missing important hardware that needs to be included and working?! I chose Right/Clear. My order arrived without the thumbscrew, tension spring and washer. The packaging was incredible. It looked neatly placed and well cared for

1 small washer makes this reliable BMG clone!

I sincerely appreciate another reviewer who reported that these little BMG clones only need a washer on the back of the right filament extrusion mechanism to connect it to the official, genuine Bondtech BMG extruder or extruder comparable to Trianglelab's BMG v2.0 clone (but sold here in the North American market under the Go-3D Print name). Not only is it a bad A$$ extruder at a very cheap price, but the kit (came in its own case!) also came with its own metal hand wheel instead of the usual…
