Seems to work. Fits tighter than the original, the filter was a little wrinkled when installed due to the force required to install it, but I seem to have smoothed it out.

This filter turned out to be a new replacement for an old handyman we also had. It was significantly smaller, but once installed it worked! Now that Sears is closed it's nice to know I can get filters.

They said the product would match my main model number and it didn't, it was wrong and they didn't have any other I would never buy it from Revain again

Filters work great. Looks made out of it. durable material. Sometimes I use an old t-shirt and a big, thick rubber band to cover the filter, which catches the larger material so the filter lasts a little longer. The best price I could find at the time.

Not really good for a 3.5hp Master. and 6 gallons. Every time I go into space he falls off the pole. It makes it worse. Although it actually works fine. I will buy it again although the filter is not tight.

After reading some reviews on this product I was a little unsure if it would fit properly. The numbers matched and the red stripe was on my old filter. You need to make sure you tighten it fully as it fits exactly as it should. The thread was exposed and the nut tightened well. 2 fingers up!

Installing the filter wasn't that easy. I had to work really hard to reconcile it. The description says it fits all Craftsman 5+ gallon vacuums but it was too small for mine. I finally got it. I assume that there are specific filters for each vacuum cleaner model. The vacuum works, I just don't think it's the right filter.

actually this is my second attempt at a review that is good in a way because i was able to use it a bit and realized that my previous 3 stars had gone down would be a favor to others who may have experienced this. First, although he claims to fit, he doesn't. Secondly, the rubber material sticking to the vacuum cleaner may well be sawdust - it crumbled and fell apart completely after about 3 hours of use. I also ordered 2 packs but only received one. I would definitely not recommend this unit…

Like some other reviews, these filters do not fit. I clearly listed the model in the info (170250) but when I went to install the new filter it was very difficult to push it on and I need to work on getting it to fit. I also have a filter plate, not a glued plate. This means that the screw must protrude just far enough for the plastic nut to be screwed on. I had just replaced the filter with a new one so I needed it immediately but wanted to check these out as they had a bonded back plate. I'll
