This is Chinese junk! I used it as a salt shaker and it rusted in two months! I am extremely disappointed. Not worth a dime.

I just noticed. It looked beautiful. But when I twisted the tip I got a 1 inch cut on my thumb. Upon closer inspection, a sharp metal object was protruding from the edge of the hole. Disappointed with its quality.

I had the same as some others, the container and lid were rusty after just a month of use. I suppose if you live in a very low humidity area you might be fine, if not don't buy this because of the salt. Possibly other spices.

Perfect for kosher salt! Just don't be an idiot like me and think you would push the lid to close it after you put the salt in - the lid will pop off and the salt will fly all over the place - DOH! I often make a simple rub with kosher salt, ground black pepper, cayenne, and garlic powder, and I wanted to have a shaker so I could spread it evenly over the meat and save myself rubbing again.
