🔧 VIM Tools HBR4 4.1-Inch Ratchet Bit Review

This thing is tiny! Works great, my co-workers have versions with blue dots and this one is slightly smaller and smoother to the touch. The wrench holds the bits in place and the direction change lever works great. Highly recommended!

I bought an HBR4 to replace date stamps on welders. I've broken 2 low quality cheap ratchets before but had no problems no matter how tight the screws were. The HBR4 is my new 1/4" bit ratchet and I would highly recommend it to my friends and family.

This is a great tool for those looking for a specific tool of its kind. I did a lot of research and read many reviews that I bought at the same time as this Gear Wrench Micro Driver Kit. This is a very good and easy to use ratchet that has a nice feel and a very subtle click. For me it was worth every penny. It works well with 1/4 bits and is a quality tool.

So many hex bits and options to get those hex ratchets in really hard to reach places. You know that all those indices stuffed with hundreds of different bits make anything possible. They all fit on this 1/4 hex ratchet and you can be the master of your bits. Allen key? No problem, captain. Does the Dilithium Crystal Converter need to be disassembled and cleaned? "Yes, my dear, and I will be ready before tea starts, dear." It's amazing to get one for the wife and all the children.

Seems to be a quality compact tool and costs a lot less than the Topeak model. Haven't used it much yet, but standard 1/4" hex bits will fit and snap. The gears are very precise. I plan to use it as part of a compact tool box that I'm putting together to put in my car/RV or travel bag. There are better ratchets, but for a little more money. This one can take a bit of torque, but the handle is so small (compared to other ratchets. I have a few others) and it feels cheap and a little awkward to use. In his hand it looks more like a toy than a tool. The metal part is very thin and the plastic handle feels very cheap. I like this product very much. I install automated robotic industrial equipment where metric hex fasteners are widely used in tight spaces. I use this daily and it works great. The depth of the tool from the tip of the bit to the tip of the ratchet is as shallow as I've seen and the 48 tooth ratchet is very handy in tight spaces.
