Description of VIOFO A129 Pro Duo 4K Dual Dash Cam—Ultra HD 4K Front and 1080P Rear Car WiFi Dash Camera with Sony 8MP Sensor, GPS, Buffered Parking Mode, G-Sensor, Motion Detection, WDR, and Loop Recording

【Ultra HD Real 4K Dual Channel Dash Cam】 Adopt top quality Sony 8MP IMX317 Sensor on front camera and Sony IMX 291 sensor on rear camera, this dual dash cam captures super clear view at Ultra HD 4K 3840 * 2160 @30fps + 1920 * 1080P @30fps at the same time. 4K resolution offer amazing video quality, four time higher than a regular Full HD recording. Help you read most details from street signs, license plate etc. Give you peace of mind when you're driving. 【Upgraded Super Night Vision & WDR】Come with 8 Megapixel image sensor, provide a much clearer image than most dash cameras at night, combine with upgraded 7-Glass F1.8 aperture lens and WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology, maintain sharp image and automatically balance the lighting at over bright and over dark area. Help capture clear details that other cameras cannot read, like road signs, license plates. 【Buffered Parking Mode】Buffered parking mode will be able to record events leading up to an impact / motion that has been detected. Car camera will save 15 seconds video before the event and 30 seconds after the event. This is an excellent feature and completes a true parking mode as there can be a lot of vital information in the lead-up to whatever triggered recording. To use parking mode, it is better to buy VIOFO HK3 hardwire cable separately. 【Built-in Wi-Fi & GPS】 2.4GHz & 5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi could transmit in two different standard frequency ranges to avoid wireless interference. A more stable Wi-Fi signal and faster Wi-Fi speed bring blazing speed for file transfer. With GPS logger, dash camera can log the current speed and GPS location, also automatically correct the time by synchronizing with the satellite. Timestamp can be embedded in the video. Real-time speed would display on car camera screen in KM/H or MP/H. 【Premium Functions】 Loop recording, emergency recording, motion detection, time lapse and so on. All your daily driving needs will be satisfied by this one dash cam. 【Bluetooth Remote Control】Optional Bluetooth remote is helpful for you to save and lock important videos without being distracted or taking your eyes off the road. All you need to do is to place it in a suitable position and simply press on the remote. (please buy separately ASIN: B07GF9CF2X).

The A129 Pro Duo 4K is worth the price difference (versus HD).

About nine months ago I bought three Viofo HD DVRs (NOT 4K) and was quite happy with them. They work, they filmed some interesting incidents and our family feels much more comfortable when they are there for their daily commute. We recently needed another camera for an additional vehicle, so I decided to try this 4K version. The extra resolution seemed very helpful as I was trying to see license plates on video from our HD cameras and found them quite difficult to read. As soon as the 4K…

Broke within 2 months and Viofo was NOT under warranty

Bought on Black Friday, installed mid December. This is my 5th dashcam setup (all wired, three different styles) in my personal car, so I have a lot of experience. The installation itself was pretty easy, although the rear camera had to be installed upside down (there is a way to adjust the picture after that). Sentry mode was inconsistent at best and I wouldn't choose this feature again as I usually park in my driveway. It's recorded continuously rather than with motion detection, and no…

Stealth 4K DVR with

I had an A129 Duo IR and it worked very well in my car, it helped me catch 2 crashes. Using video footage, the insurance company made a decision in less than a few minutes. I bought the A129 Pro Duo to replace my almost brand new A129 Duo IR which had a bit damaged its power cord in the last crash. (Another insurance company, AAA, chose to reimburse the full cost of the dash cam plus installation fees, although I did it myself.) Both the A129 Pro Duo and A129 Duo IR are different when it comes…

good video, easy to use, buy more things.

My first question was would the backup camera work in a pickup truck with a nearly 90 degree rear window, yes if it was fully adjusted. Tip number one. When installing, grab a black marker or some type of marker and under the red plastic you peel off to stick the cameras to the windshield you'll see a white stripe. Paint over that black first so you don't have a white line, you'll see through it clearly. your window. This strip is to make it easier to remove the red plastic, it won't stick…
