It just works! Worth the price!

We have two 40 lb dogs with the thickest 3 inch long black smooth coat. We set up camp in a tick infested area. It worsens about 1 month a year to the point where we brush our teeth 3 times a day and despite Frontline treatment are still removing any mites that are still attached. After a bite became badly infected we tried them with the Frontline we always use. Already three years, NO tick attached. Not alone. Frontline is great for treating and preventing fleas etc but poor for tickโ€ฆ

Hasn't worked well in recent years.

Our dog takes heartworm/flea/tick medication every month but it has never worked against ticks so our vet recommended the prevention collar. He used to be great. They left the market a few months ago, maybe two years ago. I think they changed his formula back then. I bought this last spring and found it wasn't performing as well as it had in previous years. At the time I thought it might have been a bad year for ticks, but the collar never worked. This spring (2020) the Preventic collar didn'tโ€ฆ

Disappointed, do not recommend

This collar had a lot of good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I live in a tick area and even in winter my dog gets ticks. I chose this collar because ticks are not as active at this time of year as they are in summer. The reason I give this collar 1 star is because tick collars are designed to repel ticks. I was able to find dead ticks with the Seresto collar, but I didn't find any near her neck. I only photographed one bite but there were about 5 tick bites on her neck right next toโ€ฆ

Goodbye pinned ticks!

Works like a dream to prevent ticks from biting my dogs. Much more effective than any top-of-the-line product, but be careful of two things: 1) don't put it on a dog who likes to chew and ruin collars; it is NOT radiopaque and the pesticide is not food grade! If you have a cat in your house that enjoys grooming your dog, DO NOT use this collar for the same reason. 2). Watch out for irritation of your dog's throat for the first two weeks after use. Many years ago I introduced my 15 week old pupโ€ฆ

  • I won't say anything

We have been using these collars for two years now and are getting excellent results. We use them in combination with Frontline, and before that we only used Frontline. In summer our dog spends a lot of time on beaches, meadows and paths and ticks are a real problem here. We've had very good results getting rid of ticks on our dog's front and never really found swollen ticks. The problem was that we often found ticks on her when we checked her at home. I was looking for something to protect her

Very happy with this product!

I rarely write reviews but I had to comment on this product. We live in Florida and our property borders a huge tick sanctuary that is home to lynx, foxes, squirrels and so on. We have 4 small dogs that don't spend much time outside and have never had a problem with ticks. until this year. I hate using chemicals on my dogs and am wary of internal pest control. We used the Cedarcide spray which was a good deterrent but not completely effective. We have worked the lawn several times. We stillโ€ฆ

Tick โ€‹โ€‹off!

Our Welsh Springer Spaniel had several ticks a day. We used Frontline Plus, we switched to Advantix, we treated the whole garden against ticks - nothing helped. We're just infested with mites here in Massachusetts. On one memorable day, we took fifteen creatures from himโ€”fifteen! Eventually I desperately ordered one of these collars to see if it would help. After two days we noticed that the tick crawled over it but did not attach itself. Since then - nothing in the last two months! It's aโ€ฆ

Affordable Tick Repellent Arkansas

We live in North Central Arkansas where the Lone Star and Blackfoot Deer ticks occur. Our site is surrounded by cattle pastures where we also see deer coming and going through our yard. Luckily we don't have any flea problems. I have been using prevention collars on our dogs on and off for about 17 years. Working Chemical - Amitraz 9%. I wanted a product that didn't require me to do dips in Permitrine every two weeks and something that lasted longer than the monthly topical Frontlineโ€ฆ
