🔒 10-Inch IRWIN VISE-GRIP Locking Pliers with Fast Release and Curved Jaw (11T) Review

They snap in perfectly once you install them. However, I prefer a different mouth shape than this one. It's harder to customize them for what I'm using them for. It was my fault, I did not understand that when ordering, they are different. However, for certain tasks you may prefer this form, so depending on the task it is still worth trying.

Irwin makes the best vise. I wanted this one because I work with electricity so the rubber grips help with insulation. But the product I received only had a rubber grip on the smaller side. I think this is a new style Irwin came up with, but it doesn't match the pictured product. So a bit disappointing but works well.

A nice upgrade for the traditional grip pliers. Easier and more convenient to use than the original vise we've been using for years. I wouldn't use it for welding as the heat will likely melt the plastic, but for most jobs it's an invaluable tool. Your store should have a full line of different types of jaws. I

Bottom clamp does not match top. It goes about 1/8 inch toward the handle until pressure is applied, then slides toward the handle. The problem is that if you try to grab something like the end of a bolt, it will slip out when you try to tighten the clamps. I have other cheaper pliers and none of them have this problem. The medium could not be loaded. This is a product worth the investment. The tool is holding up well and has not caused any problems so far. I do labor-intensive jobs that require labor-intensive tools that can stand up to the rigors of everyday use. These tools do just that. I use tools for auto parts, computers, air conditioners, basketball goals, anything that requires tools for disassembly. I am a stapler and the use of tools is used more intensively than a mechanic would use them. So far…

As another reviewer mentioned, these pliers are not quite like the photo. The first picture of this article shows a pair of pliers with straight jaws.
