We lost our Vizio remote over a year ago when we moved house. I bought it when we had guests and I wanted them to be able to use the TV in the guest room. I was worried that it would be difficult for me to figure out how to connect the remote to the TV, but I literally put batteries in it and used it right away. It works fantastic! Great option.

I have an old Vizio that is probably around 7-10 years old and was in need of a replacement remote. I didn't think it would work, but people have claimed it will work on older TVs. Well it is! What amazed me was that I took it out of the box, pointed it at the TV, pressed the power button and boom, it worked! Remember the old days when you had to program your TV remotes!? There used to be such a procedure. Very happy with it.

Was on vacation for three weeks and the original remote control was gone. Found in the backyard with tooth marks and missing buttons. I have used other "universal" remotes for other TVs and they seem to have limited functionality depending on the make and model. This is a direct replacement for VISIO with all the features of the original. I just ordered another one because we lost this one. It's at a price that won't break the bank.

The remote was lost for our Vizio and all our phones couldn't function as a remote with any app (no IR blasters). I've seen reviews of this product saying they just put the batteries in, point it at the TV and it worked. And it just worked like that! The remote control is identical to the one that came with our TV and our TV is definitely "old". He must be at least five years old, but I'm not entirely sure. I would buy again (if needed)!

This is the best remote control for our Vizio TV I've seen. One of the main disadvantages is the clicking noise it makes. The best thing about the remote is that the battery back stays in place, unlike other Vizio remotes I've bought from Revain that have always lost the back battery cover. This way you can get a handle on the clicking noise. If you can buy this, it really is the best remote we've found for our TV. Sometimes the clicking noise is very annoying and sometimes not so much.

This remote control does not work. I think this is a mockup of the remote, it comes in a plastic case with no documents, setup instructions. While this remote is easy to use for newer Smart TVs, it doesn't come with a setup guide, point-and-click doesn't work for older Vizio TVs (built for Proview). Let me say the remote works as it should BUT it doesn't look like my real and original Vizio remote. The color is muted and much lighter than the original. The print and color of this remote control look faded. The Netflix button color is too dark to see the words clearly. The rest of the buttons are darker in color and look faded as well.
