Just ok but nothing special.

So we ordered four different brands that got good marks, all in the same price range. Four people reviewed them and all four rated this pair as the second worst pair. The eye relief is decent, the optics are not bad either, but still not as good as others. The pair we kept (Celestron Outland 10x42) were almost half the price and slightly better in all categories. It would be wise to choose another brand/model in this price range.

QC needs more attention.

Quality control needs more attention. The focus wheel seems to have a burr because it's sticky and not easy or smooth to operate. Tried the second pair and got the same answer. I called Vortex, they said they would fix it. Why should I wait for a refurbished pair for the full price I paid? By the way, they said that there is no discount for repairs. I will try again (because I have excellent Diamondback 8x42 binoculars) and after that I will never look at Vortex again because there are manyโ€ฆ

Excellent quality binoculars. Terrible strap attachment

My husband has Vortex Crossfire binoculars and loves them but the pupillary relief was too wide for me. I needed binoculars with a smaller PD and they work well. Easy adjustment for both eyes and large field of view. My only issue was the poorly designed strap mount, it fits snugly and the flimsy strap needs to be at a 90 degree angle. If I could change the design the nozzle would be 45 degrees or straight through like the Crossfire. It is almost impossible to thread a thin ribbon through theโ€ฆ

disappointed with camera & photo

I have about 10 different binoculars of different prices and sizes. There are several problems with these binoculars. First, I don't have to adjust the diopters differently on any of my other left-to-right pairs. Not only do I have to adjust them, but the setting seems to be out of range, leaving the left and right out of perfect sync. Also, the two sides don't seem to be aligned, so one side differs slightly from the other. I get headaches easily when using these binoculars. I would send themโ€ฆ

Excellent for the price and needs.

Great binoculars for the price. Overall very comfortable for glasses wearers and you can adjust them very well to get a clear view. I could easily see targets at 50 yards and easily pinpoint the hit. These 10x binoculars are not rated for 1000 yards but I could easily see targets at 100 yards but not the impact site, for that I would recommend either a spotting scope or high magnification binoculars. The BAK7 glass was very clear and surprisingly lost almost no light. , good to see at dusk, but

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • No form required

I did a lot of research online before buying. My problem was that I wanted good optical quality but couldn't pay much; I wanted something compact that I could take with me off-road and when traveling and something that would go well with my glasses. I've come to the conclusion that Raptors 8.5x32 look their best on paper. I'm not disappointed. Image clarity is excellent, reminding me of a pair of Bausch & Lomb 7x50s from the 1960s (when B&L made them), but without the weight and bulky size ofโ€ฆ

Good quality and customer service

I haven't tested these binoculars in the field so I can't yet comment on how well they hold up or how waterproof they are, but they totally meet my expectations for a small and sturdy binocular . I chose these binoculars because I have small pupils, so most binoculars don't fit my eyes properly. I was concerned that some users claimed it didn't sit properly on their face and they had to hold it unaided without touching their eyes. I didn't have this problem: the eyecups were actually too wideโ€ฆ
