Fast and the finches love it!

Finches love this seed. Arrived quickly and well packaged, thank you. I tried this seed in spring and the birds ignored it. So I waited a month and put the food back in. Once the finches found it they flocked so much I bought another feeder and another one. I am considering adding more. This is a great seed, and if you put it a little near a tree (birds feel safer with a tree within about 5 to 15 feet) and nothing buds, wait a week or so. Birds won't eat it

We have lots of wild birds and finches are one of them - I bought this seed and two finch feeds from the leading wild bird feed companies but there were no finches at all. feeders. One feeder has a mesh screen and the other has tiny perch holes for finches, but not a single bird has visited. I have feeders in two different locations and we live at the edge of the woods near a creek so there is plenty of cover nearby. I even had to throw the seeds out of the colander twice, as moisture…

Even blackbirds won't eat it

I use shelled sunflower seeds in my tubular bird feeder year round and the birds eat it - I have to refill it almost every day. Gold and house finches, sparrows, titmice, cardinals, woodpeckers, as well as pesky thrushes and blue jays (and mourning doves eat what falls). I wanted to try Nyjer seeds because I heard that thrushes don't really like them but apparently not a single bird likes them. I filled my feeder with this nayer before I went on holiday and two weeks later the feeder is still…

HUGE disappointment

Not to mention a pretty big waste of money. I have this because we have quite a few finches and a few goldfinches that visit our feeders regularly. I also bought a nice little sunflower feeder made for this type of seed. I hung it up expecting the finches to "swarm" it around. A month later, with not a single bird showing any interest in the new feeder, I figured something in the feeder was preventing my little feathered friends from eating what they considered a delicacy. I bought another…
