I recommend this item to raise and retract the handlebars to sit more straight. Be sure to measure the stem and handlebar diameter carefully. This unit is 1-1/8 x 1-1/8 (stem x handlebar). I needed 1-1/8 x 1. I had to buy split handlebar bushings. Luckily I have a lathe and I did it myself. Another warning: the assembly is slightly shorter than the existing gooseneck and as a result the stem bearing cap stopped working. Again I made a spacer out of a water pipe using my lathe. , so I was angry at the Amazon review page at first. I had loads of stuff and I went to take another shot to turn it on and it erased EVERYTHING. So this stem is NOT as long as it appears in the first 6 pictures. The last photo shows how short it is. The length from the center of the turntable to the center of the handlebar is only 2 inches. Also, the stem head is only 1 3/8" tall and the original was 1 5/8" tall so I have 1/4" of clearance. Need another shim they should have included. I'm…
