Bought for my chickens.

I took the risk of buying without knowing if they would play with the ball. Well, they really don't care. It just sits in the body. I fill it with clover every now and then. They peck at it a bit and quickly lose interest.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • There are problems

Absolutely useless. - Dogs

I thought it came disassembled so you could stuff it with leafy greens and other goodies, but it doesn't. It's totally useless. You should try to push the treat through the holes, then something will get stuck there. I don't understand at all. It's just a giant cat toy.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Expandable

Waste of money on dogs

Waste of money. Every animal hates her and runs far away. They're meaningless and you can barely pop a treat in there to initiate an interaction as any treats that fit in fall out instantly. There is no entry point to put more in.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Speed

The chickens give it a five out of five cackle

Too bad it doesn't come disassembled, it would be quicker and easier to fill. So you have to stuff treats through the holes. It has a bell in it and the chicks love it and roll it around even when it's empty but then again they are chicks. I only bought it to get the order high enough for free shipping. I'm not the type to buy chick toys so they got lucky this time.

An interesting idea for those with 10 or more chicks!

My chickens were actually afraid of that. I found that the ball was a lot bigger than I imagined. It took a lot of food to fill him up! If I had lots of chickens instead of 3, maybe that would be a better idea. I was disappointed that the two halves of the ball didn't separate for easy cleaning or inflation. It would be nice.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Only available in black

Chicken Toy - Treat Balls

This is optional. But my hens and roosters keep busy for a while when I add spinach or other veggies or treats to this bowl. They were scared of it at first but now they're basically picking at it while I fill it up until it's all gone and it really takes a bit. It's nice to use when trying to keep your chickens occupied while busy in the coop.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • High Price

My chickens are absolutely not interested in

They just sat around and did nothing. At first I had 15 adult chickens with me, they were never touched. When I tried to play with them, the chickens got scared. Now I have 22 teenage chickens in my coop and they don't care either. They play with everything else but that. All three also broke at this low stake, just simple movements on my part. waste of money. Nice color though!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Great for ducklings, great for holding smaller treats!

I bought it for my chicks. I liked that I could put smaller pieces of lettuce and vegetables inside. They roll it around and peck at the treats, which definitely slows down the speed of swallowing! After eating all the treats, they still love to roll them around while playing with them. It's harder to fill than a large wire "head" treat ball, but this treat ball is very useful. Not sure how it holds up to anything other than kale or iceberg lettuce. And no one should feed iceberg lettuce. I…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
